its made by the same people but blazblue was originally supposed to be an RPG, creator decided to make a guilty-gear look alike because guiltygear got so much fanfare

I like the idea, but I hate that this is a full sequel. Maybe a spin-off, like Death By Degrees (Tekken) or Shaolin Monks (Mortal Kombat), but not a sequel. Still want to check this out. Hopefully they make the walking faster.

Actually this is the first full sequal to the Guilty Gear series. All those X games were just spin-offs. Well maybe not since they were kind of filling in the plot to this game.

Mostly, except unlike Dynasty Warriors, the majority of your actions will be tacticle instead of fighting. You also need to keep up with the pace or you will lose (especially when fighting the CPU).

its a rather Fun and Challenging game imo. i think GG is a awsome Fighting Franchise but after player this with my buddy for a few hours the battles are freaking epic when ur struggling to overpower ur enemies armies with your own. and it takes lot of planning and stradtegy.

Well the reviews are in, and it doesn't look good. Only one of them had anything good to say about the game, and even then it was only he wouldn't recommend it.

i wouldn't care about the reviews, since there aren't a lot of them. i actually own the game and although the first several minutes ARE rather dull, the action really picks up after a while. it more reminds me of devil may cry than dynesty warrior, although a few enemies and a particular environment screams DW. but still, i recommend it...

I wonder if they are going to make another Guilty Gear 2D fighting game which includes all the chars in Guilty Gear 2. It would be very interesting to use Valentine, this is the first time seeing a char using a balloon to kill ppl.

Looks pretty cool. I can only infer some things about the gameplay, but it looks pretty interesting, and potentially fun. My only dissappointment would be if there isn't any sort of straight up fighting mode.

Though depending on how great this is, it may or may not need it.
