any tips on how to keep your pet cockateils on not getting bored...i have four and they seem like they are really bored sometimes...i try my best to play with them but they just won't respond to me much...
2 concerns - a newly acquired bird should be quarantined for at least 14 days before joining others. Birds hide their illnesses and you don't want to infect your entire flock. The bent cage bar, shown at 6:28 has caused strangulations when a bird places its head in the widest part, and then can't it out.
@arthurkahn Yeah your right about the head part, i had my birds out and left the in my room while i was closing the door and going to the bathroom the bird ran so fast (didnt fly or id hear it) went through the crack that the door makes when it opens and since i was closing it the crack squished the birds head and 1min later the bird died... Birds fault though it was like a suicide, i know i wouldnt try going through something that was closing.
This is not a parakeet. It's a little budgie and that's a little boy who's very very young. You should buy another one. A budgie can be friends with a cockatiel, but never can be a couple or a team. You have two cockatiels, so you should also have two budgies. Every animal needs its own race. ;)
But you really have cute birds. I love love love love cockatiels!
@ShadowDemon1347 what the heck are you talking about? the fact they are all the way open like that means the bird is healthy,when they squint and have them half open that means they are sick.

My dad told me I had too many birds, so he stole 8 of my budgies and used them as catfish bate. I miss them!!

My little albino parakeet, Hugo, attacks my two cockatiels. They really hate him, and they're piss afraid of him too! It's really weird. XD
