I hate how people wanna hate on a game cause its not got a name like call of duty or battlefield, wtf, eveyr fucking game started off with their first game, and ppl were like oooohhhh call of duty sounds cool, or ohhh battlefield sounds interesting, now look how far they got, and its the same with this game, this game actually has more features, and knowledge put into it then cod, cod has done nothing but headed downhill, cod is over with, its all about battlefield now, and possibly this game.

This game has so many different things u can do in it, that I believe other games r lacking, Battlefield is awesome, call of duty is awesome, but call of duty lost its zing after the 1st one in my opinion. FPS's games needes something new and different, and Homefront did it, play it and you will love it, and you will want 2 play more and more every time, trust me. Im not here to bash on anything, just putting out a good point. :)

I love this game!! Its amazing! My only complaint is I haven't found anything like tactical button layout (where pressing the right stick makes you crouch and pressing B (or Circle) makes you knife).

I'm glad you took time to go in depth in the multiplayer which is what I would get this game for. I hear the single player is pretty short but fps games usually earn their value in mp. Graphics don't really bother me in games, if the graphics get the job done then they are fine the only time I think graphics are bad are when they affect gameplay. The game seems to be a lot of fun and functional which makes it or breaks it for me. I will be picking this one up now that I know the mp is fun.

Great reveiw man, Im gonna sub, I would have to agree that IGN under rated this game, also its important to note that when you get a full party of people playing this game together useing teamwork, the game feels amazing and is very fun, nothing like going on a streak with on of you buddys marking people for you to kill with a parrot,

what about single player campaign? i heard it was super-short, i hate when they cheap out on the single player at the expense of multiplayer. also, can you assign a sidearm/secondary weapon in the armory for multiplayer? game looks tight though, good review

battlefield does have private match you have to create a squad and then you can search or create private mach but you need a minimum of 6 players... so still gay

Nice review here Joe! I actually pre-ordered this game on Steam and installed it on the first hour it was released. I have been playing a lot of it and I have to say it is great fun. I choose the Assault class for a while then I started to make my own custom classes. Kudos to Kaos Interactive!

I totally agree on ign's over critical and biased review! RetroBasement, I think you're on point with how well the multiplayer was done and wish that some of the other FPS's out there would get the clue that gamers really want all out battles with vehicles and not just urban combat a-la modern warfare or call of duty. I'd suggest some of you check out this other outing called frontlines: fuels of war, even though it didn't pan out it was the predecessor of homefront and is worth checking out!!
