  • some of his movements are too wide.

  • @ricefarmer88 Maybe they need to be wide :]

  • Hmmm, interesting. Today at Kowloon Park, the style featured was Hop Gar. It appears as though a different style is performed in the park every week.

In any case, anyone know of any Hung Gar schools in Hong Kong? Would love to do this style myself.

  • There is no such thing as one art being better than the other.each art has individual properties that make it special.lets not judge each others life style.i've dedicated most of my spair time to wing chun kung fu an when someone tells me that it is an inferior art it's not an insult it's them judging something they know nothing about

  • @TheMartialartsJedi

You know, crazy enough, about 100 years ago, westerners claimed that Chinese Martial Arts were inferior as well, they were all proven wrong with the famous Lei Tai matches by masters such as Huo Yuan Jia, there's a reason why Kung Fu has survived for centuries, MMA is a magnificent sport don't get me wrong, but I would personally prefer to learn as much as one style can teach me rather than taking bits and pieces from other styles and mashing them together

  • Anyone know the name of this Sifu?

  • @TheMartialartsJedi No art is the best, but its becoming a well known fact that most Kung Fu guys nowadays can NOT fight. When is the last time a Kung Fu practicioner accomplish something in the world of Martial arts? Bruce Lee, if I may say so. He died 50 years ago! Kung Fu is slowly becoming a lost art, while MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world, why? because they never try to make a name for themselves, only dancing around to celebrate like this guy in the vid did. It's pathetic

  • @fuckingkimura martial arts are for the improvement of ones self and not for making a name for ones self. people used to learn martial arts to defend ones self against "bad people"; now it's all about fighting in a ring. kung fu is NOT for that!!!! but if need be a kung fu fighter could mix it up with the best of MMA. DON'T JUST JUDGE THE FORMS AS THE WHOLE ART! that is just practice, it's like reading the dictionary. not just a dance.

  • @TheMartialartsJedi Okay you can walk on water, you can fly... But that wont change the fact that most MMA fighters would beat kung fu masters with ease

  • @fuckingkimura Wearing gloves while fighting using Kung Fu in general doesnt help at all... if a true fight against a Kung Fu master would be arranged allowing them to use EVERY SINGLE technique they know... perhaps y'all be surprised. Hand techniques are great in number and finger positions are important to get a good result, with gloves?? no way they can be used, and even blocking is affected.

  • @TheMartialartsJedi ANY UFC fighters would beat you, even with no rules, especially strikers like Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida, Shane Carwin... Your street fight legend Kimbo Slice got into MMA, then what? Getting knocked out by nobodys, of course grapplers would have more problems in the streets, but trust me you are underestimating guys who train everyday... Alistair Overeem hospitalize 5 fucking bouncers, an ordinary MMA fan helped arresting a criminal with a knife by taking him down

  • @TheMartialartsJedi Sigh did you see the so-called fight between him and a self-proclaimed "kickboxer"? He is rubbish, besides I am talking about a level where you are well-known like K-1, UFC, Bellator... such and such, not some small shows hosted by a nobody. By the way I like your videos dude, should show us some kind of style with bear hands, I mean that sword video bores me to death, ciao

  • @TheMartialartsJedi Oh yeah, I have seen his matches. Some of them pretty impressive, but hes not at the level where he can represent Kung Fu and you cant convince me that Kung Fu is effective until then.

  • footwork my ass, jackie chan my ass, panda my ass... all it takes is one lil superman punch to knock this guy out

  • @fuckingkimura

classical boxers aint able to fuck wit any asian martial art

  • @KingOllyMC hahahaha okay, yeah sure man, didnt some asian kid fuck up Tyson with one kick when he was in the prison? and 90 year old shaolin monk defeated Helio Gracie within 1 min... And Jackie Chan killed a tiger with bear hands HAHAHAHAA dumb fuck

  • @fuckingkimura

I Like boxing itself and im not asian....Im just objective.

Recognize them traditional martial arts going deeper. The Boxers capitals are his power and sometimes his quickness, but real kung fu or twd fighters release power from the inner, able to destruct stones, remember that. So you aint got more power, theyre much better wit footwork, plus they wont be slower than you. What do you expect? Go and fight some of them youll wonder.

  • @KingOllyMC dude I aint dissing Asians. But I will not buy your kung fu shit until a Kung Fu practioner comes along and actually starts fighting professionally. So far I have never seen a kung fu fight ever in my life. Oh yes, theres a shaolin monk who got knocked out by a US police in a kickboxing fight... No one had ever proved me wrong yet, but I would love to see someone ever tries.

  • kyokushin karate is my style to much form in chines kung fu not enough fighting. in know i did hung ga ten years

  • this guy has the spirit but terrible form. dislike.

  • @Frewstyler Hes better than u fagget

  • @waverip3rs captain try hard to the rescue lol

  • I like this video because you can see nice footwork, at least until he tires. I watch other kung fu forms on youtube and you might see 4 horse stances in the whole form.--the other stances look like a combination of horse stance and bow and arrow (which is really no stance...really). But here is a good demonstration of nice footwork. Thank you for posting.

  • this is the Mok Kwai Lan Lineage

  • Keep the tradition alive!!

  • Would anyone know what is the uniform/outfit that this Master is wearing?

  • excellent demonstration of Fu Hok=)

  • Very impressive Tiger and Crane form. Thanks for sharing.
