  • I saw some at the Hilton in NYC. They move so fast but make no noise at all. And there are no visable cables. I can't figure out how they do it.

  • MT was the fixture set most common on 300A's. And yes, 300A's did tend to roar.

  • Yes, I have. It is on my playlist of my favorite hydraulic motors. The oldest 330A's have that type of motor because Schindler didn't have that muffler where it makes the elevator "whisper". The newer 330A's tend to "whisper".

  • This was installed in 2001, it used to have the low-pitch chimes
