I'm about to pull the trigger on either the Ford F-150 Ecoboost or the Dodge Ram 1500 Sport Hemi. the Ford Ecoboost is hella-fast but If you can get a 0-60 run of 6 out of stock Hemi, then I'd be leaning towards the Dodge. How'd you get it to 60 so quickly?

When I still had my 06 Mustang GT Convertible (5 speed) I actually had one of these surprise me one night. It was a QC Hemi.. 2010 I believe and it nosed me out of the hole.. once things got rolling though It was all Stang. I bet the R/T with the 4.10s is even more of a hole shot monster..

NM... I saw it 3.55's. I ask because I am looking at a Sport when I get back to the states (in Afghanistan right now) and want to know If I need 3.92's. The most I ever intend to tow is 7500, but the ability to do 10k is nice. I don't street race anymore, but gunning the throttle every now and then is fun. Traction alone might dictate I get the 3.92's and the posi that comes with them. Great vid!!!

@genuinejesse Oh hell, I guess I'll just take whatever is on the lot that is priced right. It's kinda obvious that 3.55's still run very well. There is a point when I have to say "good enough". The ability to tow 8500lbs vs. 10000lbs is "good enough" for me. You showed the world that acceleration with the 3.55's and a Hemi is at the very least "good enough". I don't see traction being as big an issue with the 20's as it looks to be for you. Thanks for the vid and the reply!

I saw your Tundra vids do you think the Tundra was better at towing and getting to 60 or the Ram Hemi?

@Devstrike The Tundra was quicker to 60 prob due to the 4.60 rear end. And it also did better towing. The Ram is limited by the coil spring rear suspension but in trade the ride is way better than the Tundra. But the Ram did feel quicker in passing power above 60.

@genuinejesse It is... The Tundra benefits from a sixspeed close ratio Auto and a stock 4:30 gear!!!

the Ram gets a 3.92 gear best option, (4.10 R/T) and wide 5 Speed. The superior power band in the Hemi is the only reason it can still compete.

i have a 2010 crew cab bighorn package and man... that 6 seconds is true! the 2010 silverado has that 6.2 in it and it just makes 6 seconds... im impressed with the hemi 5.7 ;)

@DXsukITThe 6.2 is so detuned from the factory. If you tune it, it makes like an extra 40hp and 50 tq....I roast hemis before the tune, r/t's, whatever. AFter tune Im hanging with challengers and mustangs,

@opptimusyaris no, its not faster... its close but not faster... my bro has crewmax 4x4 with level kit, i have crew cab 4x4 with level kit... the first few seconds he will be ahead, but after 5-6 seconds, the HEMI rushes past his truck... it is close though, but HEMI always wins.
