    John

  • great job man! way to take someone else's arrangement but still put ur own spin on it and adapt it to ur style and level of playing. u got wat u had to say across very well keep working u will be really great.

  • you just gotta love the intro...

  • OMG that was cool.

  • cute cute cute intro! keep on

  • Cool dude ! And your PRS rocks :)

  • Yup, great guitar, nice bit of pickin too.

  • AMAZING!!!!

  • Dude, you are well above basic skills and I'm sure you know it!! Well done. I like the pace and feel of the song and the chord expression is very creative....wonder what it would sound like on Epi Casino or a ES 335...

  • you re right he is above basic skills!!!!!! i love it

  • @wynterhawk2008 Probably a 175 would be better ;)

  • hey well done! i really enjoyed the piece!!, also you could try it "ad libitum" (without tempo) keep up the good work!

  • Well played very nice.

  • damn good my friend.

  • Very, very nice...now, how about a close-up video of your left hand

  • How dare you call this basic!!! LOL The intro was beautiful! great playing.

  • amazing, great bass sound too.

    sounds like straightwound chromes

im trying to get that, but readjusting everything on my guitar is like $80

  • awesome!!! :D

  • "That's a humanbeing!"

  • Dont let the guitar lead you, you have to lead it;) check out mi videos!

  • ulbrick amp?

  • Very good ! I love the way that you play this .. cheers !

  • good good..your sound is very..good

  • awesome! very fluid and jazzy :) how many years did it take for u to play as such?

  • props

  • where do i get a tab...unreal mate love this song on guitar!

  • this was awesome I love this song and this arrangement is so rad

  • Very Good! You have an extremely good flow in your way of playing, I can feel the jazz coming at me! Very Good!

  • verry good.....your good jazz player, you and your gibson guitar.

  • thats not a gibson

  • yeah thats a PRS

  • haha yea geez ur hollow bodied prs insnt very nice, just kiding i would kill for your guitar

    enjoyed the performance too

    cheers

  • this was nice but i think it would sound better if u used a wider variety of the fret board

if u know wat i mean

  • OOps! Now I am unsure if your guitar is a solid, or a shallow, hollow-bodied! Still ... try an archtop! John

  • thanks! It's a shallow hollow body. Maybe I'll give an archtop a try!

  • You sought advice? There's nothing wrong with your interpretation of MT's arr, nor with your guitar. MT's arr, was made on an archtop, I'm sure. Unlike a solid, archtops add another dimension to the amp sound. So my advice is, go to a friendly guitar shop, and try this on an archtop. I bet you'll be converted. Don't let me sway you though. Do your own thing. Regards John

  • oh dude that was awesome! 4/5 from me! not 5/5 because of some bass lines but damn, I wish I could play like that :)

  • Nice arrangement tailored for you/by you. Enjoyed it! 5/5

  • very nicely done! I am learning the song thanks to you. just need al little more practice, not very used to jazzy songs

    greetz

  • screw all these critics, it was nicely executed and you really performed this with feeling as it is supposed to be played, two thumbs up from me, well done!!!!!

  • Hi again rross101, just wondering, where can I get this music or tab from?

    Please help

    Jason.

  • There's a powertab (.ptb) version floating about the net.

  • rross101 - I like your style of playing. What type of guitar and pickups are you using to get that excellent sound?

  • Thanks! It's a PRS Hollowbody with stock pickups; straight into Garageband on the Mac...

  • via MIDI?

  • no, straight in the line in...

  • really. because i always get a lot of static when i do that. you have a little but not as much as me.

  • Muy bien, siga asi. Me encanta la guitarra de Jazz, ojala algun dia yo toque asi.

  • Philip - I like your version for the straight rhythm of the bass line; so appreciate the comments about speed. Thanks rsa for the compliments... and Jason - no I don't teach - yet. Sorry!

  • Hi there Ross, do you teach at all? I am based in London. I like your style very much.

    Jason

  • I think You should work more on rhythm things. You are playing easy parts faster and hard parts slower. I thin it needs more groove. Check out my version If you want!

  • no i like his better. you may have the rhythem down, but he has more passion and more sole. of course you dont see that because you were too busy fociousing on "rhrthm"... you go ross!

  • just thought i would clarify my responce "you" was someone else who thought he was doing a better job than ross, so i said, "No i like hes better..."

  • Great style. Nice job! Try some reverb to enhance the tone.

  • Well done.

    Paul.
