It's not slow through out. Sublime took the greatness of a Bad Religion song and added a little dynamics, put in several cut- & half-time changes strategically, and slipped in a little groove, but still kept it aggressive & made the punk part the climax of the song. Arguably a stronger song, but the original is a little more raw & kicks ass alone.
