The way Brian pronounced 'single' as a Korean word was very awkward.(It sounded almost like "shhhhhheeengle") As a native Korean speaker, we NEVER pronounce '싱글(single)' like he did. It's never like "shingle". It's just somewhere between "single" and "shingle", and so obviously Brian sounded funny.

You guys also know that there's tons of Korean words that are 'loanwords' from English which is why you hear words that sounds really close to English, but are only restricted to the sound of the Korean Alphabet. So BoA is not correcting Brian for his English, but the Korean pronunciation of the word.

Wrong: Those words are because of things that appeared after the Hangul alphabet was made so thus, a lot of stuff that was invented less than 600 years ago would sound like English. But honestly, it's not 'tons of words' that are from English. If anything it should be Mandarin because Koreans immigrated from China, and thus based their language and parts of their alphabet from the Chinese
