@ZappaSkiLL6 : thats known as an E-Bow, its a 9volt battery when switched on produces electro-magnetic waves that cause the metallic guitar string to vibrate without even touching the string... for some reason it plays best on the B string. I know pink floyd used it, and I bought one after seeing an indie artist convinced me there was a synthesizer being played somewhere - when I could see none. Wiki it, I think it was created in the 70's.
