This game is much better on PS3. I bought it 4 weeks ago on PS3 for 20. - Greatest Hits. I had it on Xbox first with the DLC Genetics from Ryan Industres. But for all those who say that Xbox is better. Guess what? No. I just found out. In some areas in the PS3. You have to get real close and you will see small shaders. More Cracks and Shiny stuff. And some of the Splicers look more like clay one the PS3. Xbox version looked like plastic. So Yeah Sorry to bring it up. But PS3 is the one.

Besides, online games for the 360 triumph. Sure you have to pay. But, it's more user friendly, as far as i know (correct me on this if i'm wrong) 360 Holds more events, and user rewards. And people have mics. I know PS3 can have mics, but alot (from my experience) are mediocre at best. And less people have them. Oh, and (correct me, it's been sometime sense i've been on a PS3) their's parties and chats.

Multi-platform games are dominant on 360 (Leaving PC out of the mix here, it's the superior one.) All because, the DLC. 360 Gets it first, and usually by the time the PS3 has them out, their at a discount, or more DLC has popped up on the 360 Marketplace. That's pretty much a rule of thumb with big name games.

PC will certainly beat both the Xbox 360 and PS3, best image quality and frame rate and everything.

Provided you are using a decent gaming PC.

Xbox 360 version is a bit better than the PS3 version also.

Still Bioshock 1 on PS3 seemed fine to me. A little choppy though. Apparently Bioshock 2 is a better port for PS3.

However, an article says the PS3 version gets choppy, dips down to 20 FPS while the 360 version mostly stays at 30 FPS. Sounds like the PS3 version doesn't look quite as good as the 360 version also.

Bioshock 2 they say the PS3 version is smoother and looks closer to the 360 version.

PC version will totally dominate in every way of course.

I think both games on PS3/360 have an unlock framerate option also.

Wow someone said unlocking the framerate makes the framerate way better and doesn't do anything bad.

Certainly interesting, framerate is complicated, each frame goes through a buffer and can tear.

@Usul573 the reason that i ask these questions is because i just bought my ps3 in September and am worried that something may already be wrong with the hardware which i doubt considering the ps3 is put together much better and has better hardware than the xbox. when i do get bioshock i will take your advice and try the unlock framerate, if there is one, and get the updates if i feel i need to.

@painmovies Take a look at Alan Wake, Gears of War, BioShock when it was an exclusive, Halo. The PS3 has a couple exclusives that look better than most games on the Xbox, but think about it, when it comes down to multiplatform games, the Xbox is incredibly dominant.

Most 360 exclusives have been praised(Halo, Gears, Conviction, Dead Rising, Forza, Condemned, Mass Effect, Alan Wake, Crackdown, Fable, PGR, Ninja Gaiden, etc.) Oh, and the 360's got a bigger line-up. If you take out the small time titles for the PS3, you're left with GOW, Killzone, LittleBigPlanet, Socom, and Resistance. And keep in mind, the exclusives on the PS3 are all sequels. Also the 1st uncharted's graphics were pretty stunning for 2007.

As a person with all three consoles this generation I can proudly say that I enjoy the ps3 more than the other two consoles. I'm still into the single player games without online. Seems like most games with online have a severely short single player experience which ruins it for me :/.... Ps3 offers the best single player experience while 360 offers better multiplayer.

Does it matter that multiplatform games have a bit better textures on xbox than ps3? It's hardly noticeable on most games. The only multiplatform game that bothered the shit out of me on the ps3 is Fallout 3 Game of the year edition! Fucking crashed on me every hour. Good game though

You're version of Bioshock is completely different to mine! First I see no jaggies here yet they are in mine. Second Atlas says a completely different sentence when you get the plasmid. Third at 1:26 you can see an audio diary which has never been there in my Bioshock. Fourth at 4:48 there is a building there for me in which a big daddy and its little sister walk by. And fitfh at 5:02, why does Steinman drop a plasmid??? Is it just different for different regions?

Why did the electrobolt part get changed? Like Atlas said a completely different thing when you get electro bolt in my PS3 version of bioshokc, and Im pretty sure in everyones PS3 version of bioshock. Also they didn't show health bars like they do in my PS3 version, and the little sisters voices are different. This must be a pre-demo or something
