my dad wanted to know where he might find too get one of thoses trailerblazer ss i guess he might have to go to all the chevy dealerships see if they have any but my dad right now has a lease 06 chevy equinox ls silver but he wants a high performance suv so i just need to know the best website where i can look up trailerblazer ss suvs
Sorry dude but this car is NOT for a soccer mom. If you put a soccer mom behind the wheel of one of these things you better have some body bags handy!
@Boobanater1 lol bra is like 12 city 19 highway it fuckin sucks on gas but other than that its a nice as suv no lie i wouldnt give a fuck wasting xtra money at the pumps.....
To drop the reas about an inch and a half to level out the ride and make it look even better, pull a fuse! Upfront in the engine compartment in the larger fuse box, find the fuse for the aire ride system/ tire inflator. Mine if label #30 but its an 08 and I know this nu,ber is different in 06 and 07 models so look it up. Anyway, once done it will take a few days for the air to be pushed back out of the bags while you ride and you will lose the air pump in the back. Keep ur fuse for flats!
OH I forgot to post this the other day when I foudn them but..... the major hop up programmer makes are making them for the 08's now. Glad to see and I will be getting mine in a couple of months with my bonus check, along with some tires so I will report back on their claims verses fact. Also, for those wishing to have a lowered rear to level out the look of ur TBSS you can do what I do as shown to me by my Chevy Dealer...continued in next post....
I have a 2wd 2008 1SS. Before programming I got the 17 MPG that Chevy said. After a programmer I get 22 Hwy. I Love my TBSS. great daily driver, around 60 a day on it. We recently had a good bit of snow and even with 2WD the stabilitrac and traction control worked great and I had no problems. Press and hold the traction control button until the stabilitrac flashes and then its go time!! 400HP tied straight to a 4.10 posi with nothing to hold it all back, this is where the fun begins!! Get one
@rxv995 do they make a good daily driver? we dont drive much and im not too concerned with mpg, if it gets at least 16. i just want to upgrade from our 4.3 blazer. i found an 07 ss AWD for 20,000 and had 50,000 miles on it. i dont see it going anywhere off the lot anytime soon. its been there for a month or so .
@GMCman82 Yes they are great. I drive mine roughly 60 miles each day for work. I am going to have to replace my tires soon tho, 50K on the facotry goodyears is awesome and a testamony to how well it is built. I finally got a programmer for mine and just what I guessed, I am getting 22 MPG using a Superchips programmer. It does everything I need and more. About a month ago I hauled home a larger bobcat on a dual axel trailer then went out and got 2 tons of dirt. Then back to work on Monday.
@rxv995 where'd you purchase the superchip programmer from? the features sounds too good to be true really lol. i wonder if it would void my extended warranty.
@jdawg3838 LOL, laugh all you guys want but I speced it at the local hot rod shop (the hot rod barn knoxville tn ) and then bought the same model off fleabay and saved $40. Which is almost another royal purple oil change for me, which is coming up soon. Order first set of tires for it yesterday. I am going back with the Goodyears. They are not the best but I unbelievably got 50k miles out of the stock ones after rotating only once and lots of abuse. Not to mention they are only $127each@tirerack
@rxv995 i just bought an 07 envoy slt for my wife . it has the i6 and i dont know what is up with it but the most ive been able to squeeze out of it is 16.5mpg hwy, and right now with city driving im getting a lousy 13.5
I have an '07 that has been lightly modded and does 0-60 in 5 secs flat with a 1/4 of 13.59 @ 103. My stock times were about 0-60 in 5.5 secs and 1/4 of 14.3 @ 98. MPG's are roughly around 14-20 depending on how you drive it. It's also rwd. Only has a tune, e-fans, iat sensor relocated, cat back magnaflow, and lowered 1.5 in. This truck is seriously alot of fun. I enjoy driving it everyday.
This is one truck that Chevy should continue to produce. This is the kind of truck for those who have a family and that are not able to have either a Corvette or Camaro. You can still have fun though with this SS. Car & Driver has this in the magazine in a comparison of cars for $20,000 and under.
@RaNdY04gt Yes it is! I've searched plenty of times and found over 15 of them under 20K. If they're over 20K then they're somewhat brand new. And those that I found under 20K had no problems and were in excellent condition. Just do a search on them.
I dont buy chevy they make a good car and guess what production stops i think the jeep srt8 is better

I don't get why they didn't put dual exhaust on these. It doesn't look right with single exhaust.

Mistake #1: The faster 1SS package with 2 wheel drive not AWD goes 0-60 in 5.5 secs not somewhere in the 6's.
