AMD processors are a lot faster, and they don't overheat. My dad used AMD processors since '95, the AMD processors are 100°C cooler than Intel, even without thermal paste. we have 2 laptops that have Intel, and every program runs slower than a snail, and the laptops overheat, and shutdown due to overheating issues. My dad always trust AMD processors, and 3/5 of the computers in my house have AMD processors, such as Athlon XP 1700+ Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4000+ & 4400+, no lags, no fuss.

This is NOT a good comparison of processors. If you want a FAIR comparison you need to use the same GPU! Everyone knows the integrated Intel GPU is CRAP. A laptop that comes with ATI or NVidia GPUs are going to perform (decent) for games. My personal bias is ATI, but AMD laptops are not the only ones that come with ATI or NVidia GPUs! I bet you my A355-S6943 will blow both of these away :)) Keep in mind, if you are going to compare 1 aspect (processor), *ALL* others MUST BE SAME (RAM,GPU ETC)!!!

Yes it is a far general comparsion. Overall. Reason why not many notebooks were made with Nvidia chipsets and Duo processors is to keep the price high for those notebooks.
