  • Is that a Noveske KX3?

  • i wonder if how you could put a foldable stock on it

  • @DJdestropath They make some very nice foldable ones for this gun you just have to register it as an SBR with the ATF by paying $200 and waiting 6 months.

  • @DJdestropath Then it becomes a SBR. Illegal without the proper paperwork filed.

  • what kind of vertical forgrip are you running! do you have the tax stamp to make that legal in your state?

  • So what is the reasoning behind a pistol with foregrip as opposed to an SBR?

  • What is an AOW? Just curious and want to learn. I am seriously considering buying it! Would you mind giving me a link to where you bought that sight? ThanX :)

  • @mysticalwoodsman

    SBR = Short barrel rifle

    SBS = Short barrel shotgun

    AOW = Any other weapon

  • @mysticalwoodsman

Also if you just google "FM red dot" it gives you a link to buy it off amazon, $69

  • Cool gun I want one to register as an aow also, looks like fun.

  • because that is a pistol isnt it illegal to put a foregrip on that.

  • In your honest opinion.....How many yards is this gun good for?

  • @2:15 Anticipate!

  • dude im not looking for a fight im just giving you advice, having the vertical foregrip is illegal to have on a pistol made after 1994, if the wrong person sees this you could get 10 yrs in prison for putting it on the gun and 10 yrs for possesion, if you want to make it legal to have you have to get a batf registration form, send in a pic of yourself and a fingerprint sample and then pay a $200 tax. take care dude

  • having that front grip is a tad federal offensive ;) might wanna take it off.

  • @jh3emmett No, no it's not. You just have to file it as an AOW with the ATF, like the guy said he did in the comments above.

  • Put a folding stock on it and convert to select 3 round burst fire, and it is the best of 3 worlds, pistol, m-16 and kalashnikov. And then, start to offer it in different calibers! Wowzer!!

  • @dankardas And then you could spend the rest of your young life in prison! Wowzer!!

  • @ihaterobbie123 : Yes, I know that, am I am 56 years young lol! A folding stock on the weapon would really make it an all purpose weapon. Too bad the Feds don't see it that way. A government which doesn't trust me with guns is not a very trustworthy government.

  • What is so great about this gun is that it is considered a pistol, not a carbine or some "illegal firearm".

  • It is my understanding that by installing the grip you are there for the manufacturer of the AOW and subject to the $200 dollar tax stamp. If you bought the AOW firearm from a dealer then you would only have to pay the $5 transfer tax stamp.

  • actually on the front t grip you need a "sbr" tax stamp but then you can get a rear stock and have a true short barrel rifle with everything

  • Good shooting! Nice :)

  • whats the effective range? could i expect small groupings at 100 yards? is it at all acurate and whats the barrel length?

  • how do you like the linear compensator? I was wanting to slightly tame the bark of mine and wondered if it helps at all. Thanks.

  • @jskatzo I like it alot, it directs the blast away from you so it is at leased perceived to be a bit less sharp. I am still waiting on my suppressor paperwork which is truly what this pistol needs to make it a very practical HD option, in its current state it may make you deaf if fired indoors, lol

  • @jogi729 I agree. I bought the PLR without any true practical purpose, so the linear comp will suit my needs. Appreciate the feedback.

  • @jogi729 When you get your suppressor, if you want the movie styled "Mouse Fart" use subsonic ammo.

  • Comment removed

  • Sir, how is that FM red micro dot in the daylight, can you see the dot well?

  • @Slapplejacks The sight works great I bought 3 for my 2 other rifles as well. For the price you get a very bright sight, easy to see in daylight, and very high quality aluminum construction. Also it's waterproof and fogproof

  • wow tht thing is sexy lol... where would i go to file for the AOW? thanks for the help

  • forgrip makes it an sbr, and if ist not registered it could be trouble.

  • @poofy06 Not an SBR as it has no butt-stock but definitely an AOW

  • did you have to pay the $200 tax ? and what state are you from

  • @cwbeasy1987 It's actually only $50 for AOW registration. Pretty cheap really.

  • i was told the it would be ilegal to put a fore grip on my plr 16 , since you have one on yours can you tell me if thats true or not , thanks man

  • @cwbeasy1987 I am not certain with every states local laws but in mine it is completely legal as long as you apply for the proper paperwork and file it with the ATF as an AOW. It's a pain and a long wait for the approval but it's worth it.

  • @jogi729 You actually went the AOW route? What made you decide to do that instead of going in the direction of a SBR? Nice looking firearm, by the way.

  • @jogi729 and the 200$ tax stamp??

  • @jogi729 Worth it? If you are a legal class 3 NFA holder the ATF can stop by your house at anytime ( or so I have heard) to inspect your weapons without a search warrant, clearly shitting on the 4th amendment. Is it worth it then just so you can have a forward grip?

  • @jogi729

    Isnt an AOW just $5

  • @jogi729 I wanted to get a PLR-16 and put a foregrip on it, but it's not worth paying an extra $200 for it when the gun itself is only $600.

  • @jogi729 ATF told me I need to apply for SBR paper work ($200) and AOW ($5) paper work just to put a vertical grip on it. Do you know if the Magpul AFG is considered a vertical grip by that stupid law?

  • @Gspsx The AFG has been ruled NOT a vertical foregrip by the BATFE. It is legal to use on a pistol configuration without any paperwork.

  • @cwbeasy1987 Yes it is illegal, if your caught ;-)

If you want a a fore grip at the 6 O'clock postion you must pay the tax stamp and register it as a AOW.

  • sweeeeeeet setup and your friend is an idiot

  • did you install your levang compensator with a washer, and if so, what kind thanks

  • @64BUM I just used the lock nut that came with the original keltec muzzle break. Thanks for watching

  • what is the best way to reduce the loudness of the gun considerably without messing with it too much?

  • The barrel is already threaded so the easiest way would be to install a supressor if your state allows. Other than that there is not much more that you can do

  • @PR0PHET0FTRUTH These rifle caliber pistols are always gonna be loud because of the sheer amount of gas pressure created by the .223/5.56 from such a short barrel.

  • Can you plz detail the other items on the forward rail other then the grip ? Looks like a light and a laser . If so , what did you endup going with . Thanks

  • Sure, I went with a safariland RLS tactical light and mount, I have a levang linear compensator, keltec forearm with rail, keltec single point sling, and a FM micro dot red dot sight. I was going to put a laser on but I don't want to add anymore weight to it. Thanks for viewing

  • While I'm not a fan of keltec it does look like a fun gun to shoot!

  • Yea she sure is a blast to shoot, very loud though

  • Aren't vertical grips illegal on those?

  • yes unless you pay the $5.00 AOW fee and wait for the paperwork, which I did.. but certainly dont do it unless you go through the proper steps to make it legal.

  • what route did you use a form 1 or form 4 to register them

I had both my kel-tecs registered AOW lot of trouble to go thru just for a forward grip
