So did you just blur the white color to the darker blue to make that glow effect? I could quite tell what exactly you were doing to make the that effect, thx for the vid it's been very helpful with trying to figure out my new software! :)

@Fancypants117 I don't think I used blur :) But it's optional, blur can give a more glow effect that's true. Good luck with discovering photshop ;)

@SweetNinjaBunny Thx, and another maybe nooby question, I draw to use the pencil tool to ink some of my drawings, but every time I try to start draw a line on top of a pixel I've already made it changes colors from black to white. If you can't answer this question don't feel bad, I'm just wondering if it's a tool or setting that's messing with it, thx again!

@MamaLuigi5551 Well... to be honest, no haha ^^" (my opinion)

It's hard to draw anime on photoshop and especially with a mouse, so having a tablet is a plus. I personally prefer SAI! I use SAI to draw (because it has a stabilizer and the lines are nicer) and photoshop elements for the backgrounds and effects. You can download SAI or just buy it because it's less expensive then photoshop elements! I hope I helped you somehow ;)

Hi! So, a quick question; Would your tutorial work with PS Elements 7? The format looks the same, but I'm not sure if the pencils, blur, and brushes would be the same or have the same effect. Since I'm new at using PS I'd thought I'd ask.

I have a noobie question. So you're using the same tools and program as I use. How do you change the eraser end of the Pen (with the white ball tip) back to being an eraser? Idk what I did to mess it up, but now it's just the same as drawing with it, and I can't change that end back to being an eraser. Please please please help me D:

@roaxsmule the pencil tool is the 17th tool ^^ if you click on the right side of your mouse you'll see a lot of different pencils x

@kkmmdd112233 Haha Calm down ;) It's just because you didn't put anything in photoshop! Just like Paint, but there it's white right? So just click on ... Idk how to translate it xD ... well at the top, you have to choose the first word and click on something like 'make a new ...' or just take it with your mouse from your desk and put it in the grey space by letting your mouse. I'm sorry if my explanation is bad -__-"

@Yggdrasilproject When your on the brush tool is the mode on Darken/ Lighten or is it set to Colour Burn, etc? I had the same problem and it tripped me out for a while lol
