doyle has changed both film and cinematography forever. his passion for experience, his link between east and west and his engagement with youth and the internet make him stand out as an inspiration to young film makers. he may be mad drunken australian, but his influence is profound.

This guy really knows his craft. You can tell just watching Wong's films. There's an energy behind the camera. They are a GREAT parring.

He's maybe a little bit drunk but he's speaking from his heart. This guy is maybe the biggest talent behind the camera of our time...who else can reinvent cinematography after about 90 years of moving images?Watch tv or go to the movies-much of what you see would look very different without his influence.

Great!! So lucky you to have gotten Doyle to open up like this.. the colored lights going about his face as he talks (I think he looks a bit drunk, but this is good because he's talking from his heart), the moment. Very good job with this. Chris Doyle is an inspiration to me not only as a cinematographer, but as a person, as a human being. THANK YOU.
