Very cool! I watched this and it lined up great (I have the Sheik Yerbouti version so it took a few tries to sync it up.) I wish I was born 10 - 20 years earlier to experience some of his greatness in person. Thank you for keeping this stuff around for the later generations to appreciate it!!

Great animation mate. It didn't work starting at 45s for me, more like 38s. The catch with copyright law is that if you get entertainment from it, you should pay. If you own a copy, you paid for the right to listen, but not broadcast. The not for profit fan thing is difficult to mesh with the law, I suppose the pedantic would say that even if you aren't profiting, people get copyrighted entertainment for free. Amongst fans who all have a paid copy? I think Gail is taking it too far.

I think its at 45 if you have the intro rap from baby snakes the CD, but a little different form the different cuts.

I know they have me bang to rights on copyright, I know I dont own the rights to the soundrack But I have to say, if you search for pretty much any artist they are on youtube and have not taken action. You would think ZFT would want Zapper being exposed to new audiences and not leaving his amazing work in a box somewhere off the net!

Ah, I get it, I was playing the Sheik Yerbouti version. On the Baby Snakes album he chopped off the intro and it starts straight into the singing. Anyway, as I said above, Gail is taking it too far. You won't make more money by stopping fans making these things, because people are not going to download fan constructions as an alternative to paying for the albums. And, as you say, it doesn't seem to be bothering any other artist out there.

nice, I have just about every LP he made and a lot of boots, as well as the ones he put out. ZFT shouldn't stop people like yourself/myself from enjoying this, especially as he wanted his work played, listened to and not studied. Perhaps " were only in it for the money" might mean something?

Everything I hear about the ZFT leads me to the conclusion that it - or she - didn't really like Frank Zappa. I can think of no better way of consigning his music to the grave than the policy ZFT has adopted of banning it from being played or performed anywwhere. I despair.

Cheers Tom, thanks for the comment. I am gutted about the audio. It looked so good with the track. I was desperate to do "dirty love" or "I'm the slime" but the legal hastle is not worth it. Its such a shame they are activly sewing the fans!!!

It's probably not wholly ZFT's fault, WMG could still be thinking that they still own his music, even though Zappa sued them for that years ago.

Yeah... I kind of put some feelers in the direction of ZFT and there was a very definite NO and we want cash feel. Then a day or so later I got the enforcement notice!!!!
