The quality settings of the game has nothing to do with the beta, the beta is testing that cloud gaming is all up and running.

Everything regarding the beta is about the service, that the games actually run isn't what's under testing.

No one knows the specs of Onlive's system racks.

However there are two things to take into account. First that they are only offering their games at 720p, which won't need the newest tech. Secondly they will be buying this hardware in large quantities, so all of them being enthusiast hardware would cost far too much from a starter company.

Both of which suggest it won't be the newest tech.

They have said that they will be using different hardware for different game. That way older games can run on older hardware and newer games can run on newer hardware. The streaming system is an external component so any computer components can be used.

Either way Crysis is a game that requires considerably high system requirements to max, even at 720p. Based on the leaked images I've seen it is not running on max, if that will change by launch I don't know; but I doubt it.

Lots of people will want to play the game, that is a lot of premium systems required.
