Yes!! But his chinese not very good because he lived in US very long time and his favorite music style is JAZZ=爵士(chinese) so he put the word "爵"=J in his name. :)

And he nominated "The Best New Singer" in the biggest awards in Taiwan "22th Golden Melody Awards(2011)". Finally he failed, The Best New Singer is Weibird 韋禮安. U can searches their music in Youtube. :) Sorry my English not very good.....

@lovecacy I think Taiwan or lets say chinese music these day have many new talented musicians that not just can sing really well but also a song writer and composer, such as Yen J, Weibird Wei, Lala Hsu, Rynn Lin Yu Zhong, and many more..

Yes, U got it! This is just the Taiwan music culture. Always have many young song writers and composers every year, they only focus their music and sing their own works. For example, Jay Chou, Maybe his dance and vocal are not the best, but he create many many different and fantasy music, that's why he can to be the most famous Taiwan musician and effected to the music of other Chinese regions.

Maybe the music of Taiwan not very popular in other countries like K-pop, big entertainment companies trains the singers singing and dancing very hard, and high class MV works let the visual shock very strong. Internet and Youtube helps K-pop very much, so Korean can promote K-pop to everywhere in the world.
