Note however Orwell's favorable review of Hayek's "The Road to Serfdom".. Though not an anarcho capitalist, Hayek was a classical liberal Orwell knew command socialism was a god that failed. Hayek and the Vienna circle of economists had eplained some two decades earlier why it would not work. . The issue is not where you start, but where you wind up. They started from different parts of the intellecutal street, but became next door neighbors.
