  • Sounds like Megadeth

  • bfmv play this in Eb?

  • @Nego1996 nope,they play it in D

  • In which tuning they play it live these days?

  • @shmok25 They play it in D#/Eb tuning.

  • @Sharingan1102 yeah die to james's voice getting lower, yet still quite epic

  • Hi Sharingan1102,

Could you tell me how can you record songs like this from E to D#? Do you use a program on your computer or something else to do this?? If yes, where can I find this program??

Thanks a lot for the upload, the song sounds amazing on D# !

  • Audacity.

  • Hi dude, great job really. I wish you could help me on using audacity. Well, I've two problems; I wish you may help..:)

    1. How do you change the pitch? I mean, when I play a song, the real pitch of the song doesn't matter and it always shows number 0. So let's say there's a song on standart E tuning. Shall I down the number 0 to -1 for D#, and to -2 for D? Would you please help?

    2. How do you remove only vocals? I try vocal remover but, it doesn't work. Thank you....

  • You don't have to bother changing the numbers. Audacity lets you choose the tuning you want the song to be on. However, Audacity usually gets the song's tuning wrong. That's why you have to change it to the right one.

  • For example, if you open a song on standart E tuning, Audacity will probably show you it's on D#. Once you are done with that, just select the tuning you want the song to be on.

  • And about the vocals ... i don't know. Sorry, dude.

  • Thanx a lot...Let's go on to rock then..:)

  • @mementomori78 to remove vocals you need the master track

  • @mementomori78 to remove the vocals once their recorded in the mix is like removing the egg from a cake once it's been baked. However, if you have an acapella of the same track you can sync it along side the regular version and then invert the phase on the acapella and play them at the same time and the vocals will phase out in the mix. Short of that vocal removers and creative EQ'in will just carve out a big chunk of usable freq's, and you'll usually be left with vocal bleed anyway.

  • I've a heavy metal cover band man and we prefer to play songs on D#. Creeping Death is in our playlist and I'm very happy to find this version...Thank u...Take care...

  • Your welcome, man. :D

  • don't know whether i like this or the original better... this is my favorite metallica song

  • This is one of my favs as well. I was going to upload it in D, but then i thought it was better in D#. Now i see i made the right choice. Thanks.

  • THANK YOU :D!!!

  • Your welcome, dude ^w^.
