How to connect to wifi with mini notebook

I have the wifi icon. The netbook finds my hub, but comes up with a PPPoE error. The signal strength is 'excellent' but it never becomes 'associated'. F'kin hate this cheap piece of sheeit now. More trouble than it's worth.

i have this small laptop and every thing works the problem is that the wifi power shows blank and says( cannot find wi-fi power make sure the path and file name is correct) i dont know whats wrong if u can please help

No WiFi icon. I know computers... I'm not dumb... This isn't working. I did notice this in the box: "No returns for WiFi issues - all PC's are tested"... So you forgot to test this one. I wouldn't have bought having known this.

You haven't answered the question when others asked the same question, so I suppose you won't answer this one either, but I'll try one more time

The wireless link icon doesn't show up in the task tray, only the wired connection.

It seems like the wifi driver isn't loaded? I clicked the power on button like you said, but no change.

Since you emphasize the not needing to return for wifi issues, you must run into issues a lot?

I'm not sure what my next step should be.

ok i need help please as soon as possible im trying to connect but it does not find the accses point infact itfinds none but it flashes like its working on the wifi bit... please help!

If you answer all these questions and explain how to overcome them i will cosider not sending this peice of crap back. Also it would be nice to explain why my mom paid $100 for 2GB of memory & i can buy a 2GB flashdrive for $10. If u have any recommendations for any upgrades this machine can get i'm all ears but, i find that buying a $100 just to get $100 in upgrades is really couteractive.

Well this is just a scenario and i want to try to jusify why my mom got ripped off. Ok so say i'm at school trying to connect to wifi. How the H3!! would i know this information for my schools wifi my pricipal doesn't know this infomation. So i've established i can't get internet at school. Now why would i need this netbook? If i can't get internet on the go i could just use my desktop. Now would u mind explaining why i don't have microsoft word, can't upgrade to vista & i can't play MMORPG's.

I do no have the WiFi Icon, as you show, yes the WiFi turned on as you show.

Bargraph in Desktop Gadget moves you and down, but just a red X
