Idc what system Luigi's mansion 2 is for, (Id prefer wii though) but the game itself was great. Nintendo is making a smart move here reviving such an epic game that doesn't need to die off.

Perhaps this decision was made due to what was originally intended for the GameCube - 3D visuals.

Yeah, if you didn't know - Luigi's Mansion was originally going to be a 3D-enhanced game, back when the GameCube itself was 3D in development! They didn't like the results, so they removed it. It was going to be that they would have an addon later for this functionality, but it cost more than the GameCube did, so they never made it! Now with the 3DS...

I remember when Brawl was announced, something inside me just KNEW they would have a Luigi's Mansion stage (though I thought it would be more inside the mansion, like one of the mini-stages from Mario Kart Double Dash)

If Nintendo opened a theme park and they created one of those freefall rides (like 'Tower of Terror'), it should totally be Luigi's Mansion-themed. This would actually be great background music for such a ride...

I loved playing Luigi's Mansion! Its was soooo awesome! Now I can finish the game in about a day or two. But it's gotten boring. It would be cool if there was Luigi's Mansion 2 for Wii or Playstation 3 or even Nentendo DSi. That's what I have at least. Luigi definitely needs more games though. He's always Mario's sidekick.

I remember the introduction beta where Luigi's mansion was scary as hell, you had a time limit and if you ran out of time you would see a possessed Luigi and the ghost where actually fucked up looking, i was hoping it would stay scary looking but that time limit was annoying.

I mean it is still a bit creepy playing it, but it's gotten to the point where I know where everything is, and I know what's going to happen next in the game.
