anyone else notice the influence of E2-E4 by gottsching? Actually, around 4:45 it sounds like its pretty much taken directly and remixed to sound a little different. its unfortunate that such an influential and innovative musician like gottsching is now completely forgotten and unknown. a little off topic.
it actually does sound a lot like e2-e4, a minimal masterpiece indeed. although originally released in 84 or something this is a timeless composition. nevertheless like this track as well!!
greetz @d7a7n9. You're probably aware that E2-E4 was a long term favourite for Larry Levan at Paradise Garage, back in the late 80s. He would either play it at the start of the evening or as an interlude towards the end. An entire generation of New Yorkers grew up on Levan's musical influences. Including one Danny Tenaglia, who originally recorded "Equinox" for Strictly Rhythm in the 90s.
