I found a possible tri-wing screw driver at a place called Harbor Freight.

For anyone who hasn't done this yet, you may also need a tri-gram or tri-wing screwdriver. Home Depot carries them. Don't get the battery powered!

I just tried this and it worked well. I don't think I waited long enough for the Circuitwriter to dry. Once I gave it time to dry it powered up. Very helpful. Thanks!

Your method cost me $15 ($5 for the Tri-Wing Screwdriver and $10 for the Circuit Writer Pen). It took 24 hours to actually dry, but once the polymer was dry, it worked like a charm! You are a lifesaver!

fantastic! My lite just blew a fuse and I don't have the 250 to upgrade to a 3ds. I do have 10 to spend at radioshack though. What type and size of screwdriver do you use to remove the back plate? The screws on mine look like peace signs. I've never seen a screwdriver like this.

Nice video man! I didnt even know pens like those exsisted! When I repaired a blown psp fuse, I used soldering iron to connect the fuse. But dang, with that pen everything looks way easier! Thanks for the info. Gonna try fixing a ds now.

@sbc619 It's a conductive pen, aka... the ink is like liquid wire, this as just an easier way than trying to use a soldering iron

Their is an alternative method of fixing the fuse F2, you can take a thin 24 gauge wire and connect points B+ and VDET on the back of the motherboard....

Ohh yeah, can you use something else to bridge the fuse? such as a thin wire or aluminumun foil? thnxs..
