@MrFrozenCanuck i have no idea. as i stated in the video, if we get the windmills, boston will benefit from it, that being said i have no idea where they are shipping the island power but i personally feel that the townships that are hosting the windmills should get free or reduced power.
I was just curious, I haven't been to Wolfe Island in years and I am heading out this summer. I'm glad they are doing it. There was a project planned for Toronto but I don't know what happened with it because a lot of people complained about them being eyesores.
--we have been pumping so much shit into the atmosphere and the earth. If we have to deal with some "ugly-looking" solutions, then so be it- - suck it up.
I'm not saying wind energy will be the solution, but it's a step towards a greener earth.
and there is still thousands , tens of thousands of acres of beautiful land in this country.
They are still ugly, and they do not work. They do not provide meaningful energy. If wind is so wonderful, why are we not still using clipper ships? You are nothing more than a wind industry pimp, prostituting this beautiful area. Enjoy your life as a wind pimp!
@thewadsworth you sound like my boss... someone who can't cash in on them so you bitch about them...we don't use clipper ships still because someone figured out how to make metal float a long long time ago...lastly i will indeed enjoy my life....as a wind pimp.
@thewadsworth ahhhh....i see thewadsworth has been here....the guy who has nothing positive to say about anything. Makes a moran comment then runs away without explaining himself.....lol
yes that's what i mean....now realistically the existing windmills on the island should give them free power but it doesn't when we get our windmills we should be getting the power....but we won't.
Neat vid, E - I liked - seems like a no-brainer to use the wind industrially way to generate sparks - i've seen wind farms in Alberta and California. they're on range land (cattle) and are quite a sight. Surreal, one might say. Thanks for uploading. Happy Canada Day, eh! ; ) MM
what is it with Canada always trying to one up the U.S.?! it's like you guys are sayin' "yea?! well....we did it first..." thanksgiving, independence(?) day....when does it stop?!
i see what you're sayin' - when you get your time machine up & running, head back about 140 some odd years and ask the Canadian nabobs just what in the hell they thought they were doing competing with Uncle Sam - let me know what lies they tell you. ; ) L8r, lad... MM
Does anybody know if the whole island is now powered by those wind turbines?

as far as the "their ugly" comment

@soleilhawkins the best part about this dipshit is that he's confused the name of my town with the name of a wind company.

and hell yeah power to boston i did see one here about 3 miles outside of boston but other than that nuthin
MrBojangles447 2 years ago
i think you misunderstood. the electricity generated here by our wind will be somehow shipped off to Boston.
genericsoul 2 years ago
it depends do you mean the power is going to be used for boston?
MrBojangles447 2 years ago
yes that's what i mean....now realistically the existing windmills on the island should give them free power but it doesn't when we get our windmills we should be getting the power....but we won't.

well... i live in boston and i think "hell yeah power to boston" are pretty much the right words.

Let me know when you're ready to get drunk and throw shit at the wind mills. That sounds worthy of a trip!
