  • I had Marshall Major, lost 'em. Looking to buy new cans asap. I mostly listen to trash/heavy metal. Would also use them with my electric drum kit. Would you recommend Sennheiser HD 25-1 II or Beyerdynamic DT1350?

    Thanks a lot.

  • Can you do review of the Sennheiser HD 600 and HD 650? that would be awesome. Like your reviews to..

  • Is there any difference between the 600 and 650 cable in sound with this headphone?

  • @JimBeamRulz I just did a blind test with the HD650 cable, and with the HD25-1 stock cable, and actually guessed the stock cable as the HD650 cable. So just stick to the stock cable.

  • if you wnat headphone's with great bass and amazing sound quality, go for the ''Marley Positive Vibration'' Headphone's well worth the money, they are great for all area's in music, such as pop, hip hop, rock, metal, dubstep, DnB, and all the dubstep sub genre's, they are perfect for everyday use and will not break on you i own a pair and don't regret paying $70 dollar's for them (:

  • i know it would have better sound but that pink wire tyinging thing is not the best looker

  • What are the best bass/overall headphones for under 80 bucks?

  • you dont use the blue cable? can i have it? :)

  • Hi,

Would you recommend the Sennheisers over M-80 to a rock music listener? The genres are britpop, indie rock, punk, and hard rock.

Also, I'd like to have the best isolation.

  • HD 25 ii, V-moda V80, or AKG K518 LE?

  • excuse me do you recommend these headphones for techno/trance and hardstyle

  • @renteria90 Hell to the yes! More than the M50, the DT1350, the V-moda M-80 or the HFI-580.

  • @aeriescannonfodder lol then imma buy these headphones thanx man :D

  • wish i could afford to buy these awesome headphones...

  • cool screw driver.

  • that cable replacement looks like a pain in the ass

  • Hi, would you recommend the V-Moda M80 over these for general music listening and some music producing? And congrats, truly admire your work! Greetings from Brazil

  • @pdrfurtado The HD 25 and the M80 are roughly similar in ability. The M80 has a mellower, recessed treble, the HD 25 is the opposite with its aggressive, emphasized treble. I think Tyll prefers the M80 over the HD 25, though I would pick the opposite for my taste. The HD 25 has a pretty good, linear midrange, if recessed, for voice recording. I don't actually own the M80, don't know how they would hold up in a pro environment.

  • @aeriescannonfodder Thanks man, really helped!

  • @yylikeutube123 it depends primarily on what music you listen to.

  • @RovexHD Basically all the genres except heavy metal...

  • How much r the adaias ones

  • @2SiDeDFiLmS The adidas one ranges from $230-$260 depends on where u get it...

  • V-Moda M80 or this?

  • Comment removed

  • Does it work well with an Ipod? Because of its 70 Ohm impedance...

  • @gunspoa In my opinion, it works very well on ipod or iphone since it's got a pretty damn high sensitivity, so that to cover up the high impedance...

  • V-MODA Crossfade LP Or Sennheiser HD 25-1 II?

  • Is it easy to drive the portable music players (iPods, iPhones ...) ?

  • wat do u mean bright?

  • @EpicShotz75 Excess treble energy.

  • hy ... please ...can you make a review on ALLEN & HEATH XD-53 ? or AIAIAI TMA 1 ? everybody praise them but I want a professional review as you managed to do for other headphones ... well ... we really thank you. youare very helpful

  • Would you recommend these over the hd 598s? i can't decide between the two

  • @jeremywusoccer I have the exact same question as you. Hopefully someone will enlighten both of us because I'm torn between the two myself!

  • @jeremywusoccer They're two completely different types of headphones, apples and oranges. You should pick by how your going to use them. HD 25-1 II is sealed for isolation, it's a good headphone for drummers, dj, and working with them on because they're very stable on the head. The 598 is open and don't isolate you from noise, so they're good for uses around the home and office.

  • @InnerFidelity How would you compare the audio quality though? I won't be bringing them outside often, but its nice to have the option. Im looking for the best sounding headphones for a variety of genres. If the 598s sound better than the hd 25s, than im probably going to get those because portability isnt my first priority

  • Are you going to review Sleek by 50 Cent phones

  • @EudoraKsSkating Celebrity Headphone Deathmatch. Just posted.

  • do these headphones leak at all?

  • @bballphenom123

Literally no leakage on low volumes, on high listening volumes very small leakage, but still good enough to use in a library or some other quiet place.

  • are the ear cuff things detachable?

  • U should do the skullcandy aviators

  • How much r they

  • When you say the HD600 and HD650 cable are better sounding than the stock cable, does that show on the graphs when you do measurements?

Also have you seen any difference in the graphs between "audiophile" HD-650/800/LCD-2 etc cable and stock cable?

  • @OriginalMindTrick Nope. Differences are too small to measure with these methods. There are ways to measure cables alone ... even there the differences are very small. Significant amounst of snake oil here, but I have heard differences between cables.

  • I got a good deal on the adidas pair. For $200 they are absolutely phenomenal for my music (i'm a metalhead) I also own some alessandro ms1 and some shure srh840. I prefer the hd25 1 ii more then those others.

  • hey would you recommend this or the sennheiser ie8 earbuds?

  • Thanks so much for the review and the modding options! Great help!

  • Ive heard that these are great for dj's multiple times, but i'm not a dj, is it worth it just for listening to?

  • I bought these headphones a year ago, and they are hands down the best investment I have ever made when it comes to electronic equipment. I will use them for the rest of my life with 100% certainty.

  • is it good for traveling and are those durable?

  • Thank you for a nice informative video (that reinforced my belief in these little beauties)!!

  • how would you compare these to gaming headsets like turtle beaches and trittons?

  • so are these better than the beats in your opinion?

  • Watching to this with my HD25-1 II :D

  • @frogger1555 i just bought the same ones that you have. theyll be here nov5-9. are they good in dubstep ana d hip hop and what now

  • when you flip the cups, why not just change sides so the adidas logo isn't inverted

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks so much for this review. I've been looking for a good, unbiased review on the HD-25's as I've been looking to buy a pair. You've convinced me.

If I could give a suggestion, could you possibly try and make a review on the Aiaiai TMA-1's?

  • what's with this guys shirts? hectic

  • whats the best phone you've heard for hard rock/rock that isn't a grado? I'm like you, i can't stand the high end on the grados

  • Yes these are a very old pair of Aviator headphones, unfortunately they have not seen much use recently as they need some more work on them, i tried to use them for dj'ing and after not such a long while the band came away from the cup. Now the speakers have lost their connection again so time to try some more soldering on them and patch them up with some gaffa. I think i'll go for a pair of HD 25-1 II's for djing although Allen heath 53's look great, & the pioneer hdj 2000 look indestructible

  • There are a few things that would concern me with these, one is the little plugs where you plug the replacement cable, i had problems with these same plugs on an old set of Aviators, finally i soldered the cable straight to the speakers. I can't remember exactly now but i think i've had a problem with ear pads coming off on an old set of these whilst borrowing some during a dj set, has anyone else experienced this?

  • @izzzzzz6 How long ago was that? If it's more than about 8 years, there were problems with the little springs that the prongs on the cable slide into. The springs loosen up and became intermittent. They've since went to a stronger spring and the problem seems to have gone away.

  • hey inner fidelity, fantastic reviews, keep up the great work! could you review the xones xd-53s? im about to buy new dj hps and are undecided between what seems to be the two bes: xd-53s and these sd-25s

  • I've been watching alot of your reviews and I think they are just fantastic and very handy and interesting. Thanks for all the info, but I have a quick question. What would you recommend, the hd 25 1-ii, or the dt 1350s?

  • @Waluigirules Well, I prefer the DT1350, but it's $100 more expensive as well. I think they're both good value for the money.

  • Great review. Thank you for the time of uploading

  • these or pioneer hdj-2000?

  • @originallyloaded I'd go with the HDJ-2000 or Sennheiser HD25 II

  • Can you use these for listening to everyday music or is it mostly for DJ and music editing

  • @Confuddler These are good cans for music .. period. So, sure, everyday use would be fine, especially if you need some isolation from outside noise.

  • @InnerFidelity how's the bass? really curious :)

  • @akaBLOOIE It's good .. not great, but very few are.

  • @InnerFidelity Very few you say, do you mean headphones overall or sennheiser-products?

  • @akaBLOOIE Very few as a whole. Best bass is on the Audeze LCD-2, a $995 headphone. The Beyerdynamic DT1350 has very good bass at about $299.

  • @InnerFidelity Ok, comparing to the AKG k518 LE (my previous headphones) How is the sound, bass, comfort etc on these?

  • Hey, Tyll. I'm looking to buy the HD25-1's, but I don't think I'll be able to buy a new cable for it. Might I just look at a different pair of cans since I've heard so much about the infamous steel cable?

  • @KawaiiKyle The HD650 cable was only marginally smoother than the stock. I wouldn't let the steel cable bother you ... it's certainy not bothering the electrons much.

  • thank you! nice review

  • did they send them to you??

  • Compare them to the Aiaiai tma-1

  • hey tyll how do you compare these badass hd25 to the dt1350 from beyerdynamic?

  • @avengedtheater It's in the article. I thought the DT1350 was more pleasant to hear, but the HD 25-1 II is more accurate, but a bit too bright.
