In the song, Hanyuu says "I am called Hanyuu". The verb is mousu, or in the polite form moushimasu. (Notice the long "o" sound.)

The "to" part is like the quotation marks; it tells us what she is called.

So, rather than "tomo shimasu", it should be properly "to moushimasu"

She isn't watching Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. Maria is watching the Lady Bernkastel Show. Its a pun sense Bernkastel created Higurashi that they edited Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. If you read the manga where it's shown as The Lady Bernkastel Show you would understand. I don't think its shown in the visual novel. I just thought I should clear that up.
