  • @PBezuhkovIII- Was just thinking the same thing abt Romney, sounds so fake and also sleazy as hell.

  • I know I am sounding like a Romney-hater, but he is the only one in the debate that I can't even bear to listen to. McCain has a sense of humor, Ron Pau makes sense on libertarian principles, Thompson actually sounds like an adult, and Huckabee sounds like an actual normal guy. Romney sounds so fake that its hard to listen to him.

  • @rcronmusic Romney has 4 investments in several Oil companies in Iran, he's definitely a slimy pig probably the worst on the stage. McCain fuck no, be in Iraq for 100 yrs he can send his kids there if he wants to, but not mine and not there kids either. I don't know how he could be any worse than Obama, but I think he would find a way. I agree with you on Ron Paul and I pray to god he wins this years 2012 nomination.

  • The guy at the very beginning asked Romney what he would do with the 12 BILLION ppl in the US illegally, lol as far as im concerned there's only 6 billion in the entire world lol. I know it was just a mistake, but still.

  • All We need is love and Ron Paul ;)

  • The only people with any sense in that primary was Ron Paul and Fred Thompson and of course neither had a chance in hell...

  • Let me see if I get this right. We need to borrow $10 billion from China, and then we give it to Musharraf, who is a military dictator, who overthrew an elected government. And then we go to war, we lose all these lives promoting democracy in Iraq. I mean, what's going on here? - Ron Paul

  • Thats the best line of the night, by Mr. Thompson.. "We need to be a nation of high walls and wide gates." Thats intelligent policy.

  • RON PAUL for PRESIDENT!

  • RON PAUL for PRESIDENT!

  • RON PAUL for PRESIDENT!

  • A giant wall is a great idea. Worked great in China and Berlin.

Lets build a wall around Washington instead and stop these crazies.

  • RON PAUL for PRESIDENT!

  • I'm gonna take a wild guess and say you're an idiot...well not guessing really

  • I'm going to take a wild guess and say you're Mormon.

  • And I'll apologize in advance for seeming as if I'm stereotyping you.

  • "sounds like Berlin"? You are using a false analogy...millions of illegal aliens causing great monetary effects, over population, crime, and overcrowded hospitals is totally different than the Cold War and the citizens of East Germany under the control of communists. And please, no emotional appeal about how the immigrants do jobs nobody else will--I'm so sick of that weak rebuttal.

  • Huckabee was fantastic here as always. I was also impressed with Guiliani. Huckabee and Guiliani would make a good team. I like all of Guiliani's points except his stand on abortion.(even though I disagree I admire him for being honest about who he is (Romeny is a fake). But Huckabee has the vision for the future of the Republican Party. Could charm the "pants off" the foreign country leaders and could sell most any program with his charm anc charisma.

  • Fred Thompson, u were better as an actor on Law and Order.

  • That's funny you think he's a blithering idiot. If you actually listen to what all the candidates are saying, he is the only one who offers sound facts and evidence to back up his philosophies and policies. He is also the only one who offers concrete solutions and plans of action to support policy changes. The other candidates are just circumlocuting like crazy, saying nothing much. All varients of the same, really.

  • Freedom is timeless. You should go hide under a rock for 20 years.

  • I fucking hate Giuliani. I would rather see him in jail then the white house.

Dyke Fuckabee is Satan carrying a cross.

I hope McCain drowns in urine.

Mitt Romney is the John Kerry of the Republican party. And elitist piece of shit, who flip flops on about every issue. But he doesn't suck quite as much as the rest of the Nazi party. I mean Republican party.

  • giuliani needs to stop talking about 9/11 mccain can't speak and huckabee to religious

  • I had been seriously considering Huckabee, Romney and McCain. I liked Paul, but didn't think he was electable enough. After watching this debate I still like Romney, but have lost my zeal for Huckabee and McCain. I also really like Paul for the fact that he just tells you what he believes in and puts it on the table. I mostly agree with him on everything but the war. It looks like I will be voting Ron Paul in the SC primary tomorrow.

  • thanks for voting for dr. paul. he will have trouble being elected in the republican party but he is the only republican that will have a chance at defeating hillary in the general election.

  • that may have been true 8 months ago, but Iraq is no longer the #1 issue

the #1 issue now is the economy, so a non-Paul Republican can beat Hillary, although I don't support any of them

  • Are you saying that the Democrats are all flash, with no substance?

I thought you gys were gonna end the war, and now it appears you're closer to starting the draft. What's up with that???

  • What's up with the Democrats getting elected by majority and not stopping the war?

  • "ugggh, i uggg, ugg" Fred Thompson.

  • what in the fuck is Goeler wearing

  • "I don't know about Ron Paul, but I think everybody else agrees. I just haven't heard your positions; I don't mean to be critical."

Hah. He just didn't want to get booed again.

  • 1. Paul

    2. Thompson

    3. There is no other conservitive running.

  • Thompson's conservative?

  • Yes, if you actually look at his senate voting record he has alot of those only one against votes due to federalism just like paul has in the house.

  • Thompson smokes cuban cigars. Sounds like an elitist to me.

  • Ron Paul vs. Hillary or Obama

    Man that would be interesting.

  • I was refering to how cool that would be to watch, consequences disregarded. I'm not picking sides here.

As for Huckabee: the man is a christpunching lackey for the status quo.

  • @lollygager3664 Obama wouldnt have had a chase against Ron Paul. Ron wouldve won the democratic vote and republic. but he wouldnt have controll over the congress like obama does. I think.

  • @lollygager3664 Ron Paul vs. Obama

    Man that would be interesting.

  • o and someone tell guiliani to shut his mouth after the bell.

Who's gonna elect that power/fame hungry womanizer anyway???

  • he sounds like a retarded sylvester the cat.

  • 1. Paul

    2. Huckabee

    3. Thompson

    4. who cares they suk

  • Rudy, Mitt, and Huck: When will you learn that you can't run a country the same way you did your state/city? Federal government has a different role. How about you find out what that is.

  • yes, there's a giant line somewhere for everybody to go stand in that wants to come here. take a number, we'll be with you in 30 years.

  • As much as they tried to slander him, I have to say Ron Paul has gotten more and more time to talk in each progressive debate. I guess it is a revolution. I just hope it isn't discouraged if he doesn't get elected. People have to have the balls to keep trucking in the face of opposition.

  • HEAR YE!! HEAR YE!!

  • Hucksterbe thinks the illegals will go home cause they're supposed to get in line. Hahahahahaha!

They know we won't enforce the laws so they just keep coming.

  • In my eyes

    1: Ron Paul

    2: Fred Thompson

    3: Mitt Romney

    4: John McCain

    5: Mike Huckabee

    6: Rudy Giuliani

  • Intellectuals Eye's:

    1. Ron Paul

    2. Rudy Giuliani

    3. Fred Thompson

    4. John McCain

    5. Mitt Romney

    6. Mike Huckabee

  • Romney, everytime you speak I trust you less. Keep your money and your negativity to yourself. I'm a Ron Paul supporter, but this is my honest view on who won the debate: 1. Ron Paul 2.Huckabee 3. McCain 4. Thompson 5.Romney 6. Rudy.. Any thoughts?

  • In my opinion:

    1. Ron Paul

    2. Rudy Giuliani

    3. John McCain

    4. Mitt Romney

    5. Fred Thompson

    6. Mike Huckabee

  • Seriously, Romney is the slickest of them all, a real old-fashioned snake-oil salesman. That's saying a lot, what with big-city crook Giuliani on stage! Romney just oozes distrust and hubris. Even if Ron Paul doesn't manage to win, he's done a tremendous service in just rallying the population and making people understand constitutional values. Go Ron Paul!!

  • Ive been in private schools and public schools. Private is far better, but far more expensive. Thats where the problem is. Public schools are constantly in funding crises and they are crowded. Unless youre in a higher class tier(like honors or advanced placement classes) youre not going to get the individual attention needed to apply your personal learning style toward the subjects taught. Kids stress out over standardized tests, but seem to rank fairly low compared to other countries.

  • Actually, public schools are now quite expensive. I'm not sure of the exact number, but I know that the average cost per student is north of $13,000 each. Spending per student in inflation-adjusted terms has skyrocketed since the 80s. Class sizes are lower than ever. Yet quality and results have not improved. There is a disconnect between money spent and results... no incentive for improvement in public schools!

  • Because when ya fund a beuracracy like the DOE all the dept does is increase the frequency of standardized testing. Results of the test will reflect in the funding for a school. Therefore, classrooms are teaching what will b on the standardized tests rather than upholding a quality cirriculum. Everybody wants to get a little more green...

  • ehh in MI,its like 8,000 or 9,000 per student.Same in Ohio.Let me tell you this from a student's point of view:There are some kids that are pretty smart that get things easily, but theyre not being challenged!Than you got the average kids(half of the class)that just need a bit more limitation(vid games,TV,etc.)and lastly, you got the dumbasses.if they dont want an education,i believe the gov shouldnt pay for it.

  • Ah, I should have been more specific. In New Jersey I know the total is $13,000 plus. They publish an account every year in the paper detailing what school districts spend what, and how much federal and state funding they receive. Some of the worst districts spend the same per student as the best performing districts...

  • did Ron win this one (i watched the entire thing and i would say yes honestly he did) just making sure cuz i feel like he is not getting the kind of attention he deserves =(...hes VERY inspirational!

  • ron paul has some wacky ideas (like cut the UN and department of ed.), but he seems like a really decent person.

  • Thompson, thank goodness your idiocy is not veiled in secrecy. Please go home and sleep; you know that's what you really want to do.
