  • @limbucki this is a reality of Britishers they always neglect the gorkha,The gorkha people gave their live for Britain but Britishers ignore the sacrifices of gurkha people.they never think about gurkha people. If they think about gurkha they should return the land of nepal in the time of indian Independence. But they not do that & give our land to india.now nepali people faced a tags of outsiders on their on land.so stop served Britain.

  • I Have to admit Somalis in the British army parachute regiment & Infantry !

There time to shine will come one day # lol

Somalis are fearless just like the Gurkhas

  • Nepali,Hindi,Urdu,Sinhalese and Bengali are all related, and even Arabic & so are most of the other languages if u go far back enough in history..One of them can speak one of those languages if exposed to it for some time.I only hope that this correlation makes us realize we all are the same.Get over it.

  • @TheeEvilThatMenDo that's because nepali,hindi, urdu,sinhalese and bangali all belongs to Indo-Aryan family.

But the four ethnic group that makes up the Gurkha namely Magar, Gurung, Rai and Limbu have their own languages which belongs to Tibeto-Burmese family.

    hope this helps.

  • The reason Gurkhas can speak hindi is by watching bolloywood movies. If we did not have TVs n indian channels at home Hindi would be alien language to us. Wen my dad was in gurkhas there was no Indian channels in Nepal hence he knows no hindi, but todays gurkhas can speak hindi cuz they have watched hindi movies n programs since kids as we have access to hindi channels.

  • i dont care how my country is..

i am proud to be nepali..

    beleave it or not

we are the bravest people around the world....

  • 2- why they train these soft guys? what you need are mountain born men who were born with the gun and knife! men who know the cold and the hills and can survive on rats! these are the wolves you need! Taliban will beg for deliverance!!

  • i didnt know Ghurkas in the war. Taliban in big trouble!!

  • Nice one.- ;)

  • gurkhas are best troops you can get for hand to hand combat. Back in world war days gurkhas prefered running and cutting there enemies with khukuries with gun on there other hand. Which most of the time used to be left unused lol

  • Gurkhas are from Nepal and their main language is nepali.Hindi is language of India but in this video it says the main language of Gurkhas is hindi.Gurkhas have been serving british crown for 200 years and they dont know even know what language they speak?

    what a negligence

    Hindi is language of India

  • video says that they speak hindhi too.. (not only hindi) and these afgan ppl also have some knowledge of hindi by watching indian movies...

  • the vid dosent say "they speak hindi too"

it says most of them speak hindi.

well that is not true any way,

i bet u any money all the gurkhas speak nepali but has little knowledge of hindi...

    now ppl out there!!!!!!

dont try to say that gurkhas are from india!!

but i kno that gurkhas served for indian army as well.

this is where thy might have spoken hindi the most.......

  • and what script is nepali? DEVNAGRI

and what root language is nepali? SANSKRIT

where are the above two from? INDIA.

Like many other princely states before partition, Nepal was also a kingdom that was part of British India. So stop trying to fight about what's from where.

What matters is the GURKHA and his KHUKRI.

    AYO GORKHALI.

  • who the hell said that we were state of India??

You gotta study History again mate...

    we were always independent nation...

  • @GeatishBeowulf I agree Your three lines but amazing this is that where u found that Nepal Was part of British India. Please i would appeciate if u could provide me any link ,book, novel where it is stated.Common dude you know nothing about this .....Before u say any thing please think twice and comment....lol.....waiting for ur reply

    cheers

  • @GeatishBeowulf actually the Gurkhas are formed by Rai-Limbu-Gurung-Magar ethnic group whom are all Mongoloid in race. Each of these four ethnic group have their own mother tongue. The linguistic expert have categorize their language under Tibeto-Burmese. But after the founding of modern Nepal in 17th century by P,N Shah, Nepali language based on Devanagari was used as a national language of Nepal. Still today Rai-Limbu-Gurung-Magar have their own language.

  • @GeatishBeowulf hehehheheheheee who said u nepal was a part of british india.Lear some history and write on the wall dude.Nepal was never colonized by british or any other forces.

  • @GeatishBeowulf Actually Gurkhas were never conquered. British got owned. Trust me I am an Indian but I know this. The main reason for Gurkha community's valour and courage is their strong belief in their religion--Sanatana Dharma.

While we Indians chose pseudo-secularism, Nepalis remained strongly religious and made sure that no appeasement is done. Hence cultural and faith purity and strong Dharma is the source of their power.

We must learn from our Nepali brothers and sisters.

  • @limbuckl

india not a hindi there so many langh :)

  • @limbuckl But you must agree that we Indians and you Nepalis share one common bond; that of faith and culture. Regardless of what our stupid politicians make of us, we still are blood brothers. :-)

  • @limbuckl It does not claim that their main language is Hindi. It simply says that most of them speak it. What is the negligence here?

  • @limbuckl She wasn't saying that the Gurkhas main language is Hindi what she said was Gurkhas are from Nepal so most of them speak hindi.

Hope you understand the difference. Let us not make false accusation for no reason and I am Nepalese as well.
