Nice to see Tornado tackle the northern fells although the performance up Shap wasnt as good as 46115 I have to admit. Weather wasnt the best up in the high hills either, is that why you didnt bother going to Beattock?
Thanks Ryan, I didn't consider going as far as Beattock even had the weather had been better, an additional 150 mile round trip from Tebay I thought was a step too far for one extra shot.
Tornado's certainly back in top form Austin, effortlessly hauling up the gradients...As for Scout Green...well somebody had to do it, so thanks for putting in the effort so that I can sit here in the comfort of my lounge enjoying every minute of it.....Thanks Austin....Bob
Excellent video Austin - love the light and performance in the first shot, and the Shap shot's in the bag, in all its drama, and for to my mind, well worth the drive. Thanks, David.
Three superb locations Austin with possibly three different seasons of weather, I could imagine your thoughts at Scout Green but I wont type them. Nice to have the chat at Lostock before the crowds came!!!
Cracking footage Austin, especially at Lostock. You weren't the only silly chappy in the northern fells, but at least you had the sense to call it day after Scout Green, lol
Excellent! A De ja vue moment at the start ( but a very nice De ja vue moment, with Mr. 981Smithy), but superb none the less. That shot at Shap was an incredible shot, and well worth you travelling up there. One of those scenes that, when you look back, you'll be glad that you had done.
after watching Steves video you may feel a little consoled, love the ending, can imagine the thoughts going through your mind, Bolton may have been the only place this far north to see the sun, at 7am there wasn't any here, great vid, swirling clouds of steam, but not hiding the loco, cheers.
Thanks Leon, I thought after that sunshine at Lostock the forecasters had got it wrong but it wasn't too be. I edited out the train passing at Scout Green as a damned great raindrop fell right onto the middle of the lens!
Great movie, Austin, and don't let them tell you to go home. It's great footage, Steve's too, and really captures the moment. After all, you can always dry out later!!. . . . . Alan
Great shots Austin , love the lighting in the first shot ( same as Phils ) and you did well to get to Bay Horse . The rain you got at Scout green got me on the way back to the car at the Summit and at least you had the sense to go home as I went to Beattock and it was even worse up there . Regards Steve
Thanks Steve, could hardly get the car door open at Scout Green because of the wind, such a contrast to early morning at Bolton. I can well believe how bad it was at Beattock, Scotland is getting a battering at present
Austin beautiful video. Appalling weather give a special light and the result is splendid. Thank you very much.

Excellent film Austin ! Tornado seems to be making a squaking noise on many of the films I've seen wonder whats the cause ? Thanks for sharing Brian

Thanks Brian, yes I've noticed the squeak, hopefully nothing too serious, maybe it's one of Terence Cuneo's mice!
