I got all the nights of the nine armor and weapons and i made a really good nights of the nine bows i stood on the bottom of the tower of the imperial city. shot an arrow directly up in the air and got a sneak attack walked around the tower 4 times and then up the tower and there was an guy that looked like herbert from family guy with an arrow stuck in his head and he was also on fire. it was pretty weird.

Not bad, I have done a few with longer shots, but I had my view distance maxed and I also ran into seeing distance before the arrow hit. What's really fun is flying or jumping up in a tree or on the roof of a building/ruin and sniping the guards as they pass by. I also sniped someone from my starship orion once, had to follow the arrow down though lmao.

@superhacker101 Level 1. Seriously, with a decent poison a fine steel bow at level one you'll have a better chance of one hitting stuff than you will at level 10. Because the developer made a couple STUPID design choices (I like Oblivion, I just wish it were more like Morrowind in some aspects) like leveled enemies. Since enemies get stronger as you level up and get stronger unless you build your character right and level your skills right you'll end up WEAKER as the game goes one.

When you are shooting far enough to switch to a dagger before the arrow hits to get a 6x multiplier instead of a 3x (yes this does work reguardless of the patch version you have) then you are fireing long range.

What is your level in marksman? It would be nice if you could zoom in on your shots, makes it wayyy easier to hit far away target, and to see. Also added fun, get the arrow of storm shock, i think it hits for 40 shock damage and affects everything in 10 feet radius of target. It drops off the bowman at pell's gate or brindle home i forget. Some of my videos shwo it it's hella funny :D

the way it works is there are a bunch of random oblivion maps that are loaded when you enter. Do oblivion gates until you get the one that you want. here is the description from uesp: This is one of seven random Oblivion worlds; in addition, the Oblivion gate in front of Chorrol always connects to this world.

When you step out of the gate the main tower is directly in front of you, surrounded by six additional towers. The main tower in this world is always the Portals of Natural Disaster.

I do like elven bows too, maybe even more than that one, but this character is level 1 and I didn't like how hard it is to find a recurve (or any realistic) looking bow, so i got a mod for it :) And elven is just a little out of reach for a level 1.

The bow is the "redwood bow" from the oblivion mod "real bosmer swords" Its a pretty good bow, and i like the way it looks. It shouldn't affect the speed of the arrow either. ;)
