Well, not exactly a road test is it, simply pointing the camera at the dials, next time you could put it on a rolling road ..to see the needles go up and down...vrrrrmm...wow. It is a shame as it is a nice car, we need the Pro Clarkson to show a real test

i think you mean between the compressor and engine.

If you look at the compression of air you can note from the perfect gas law that the Temperature will increase. If you do not cool the intake charge you can get too high temps in the cylinder, which can cause knock or other problems. Generally heating of the intake charge reduces power and can result in worse emissions.
