Sugars and salts are a big problem in both various fast foods and store bought processed food products. Fat is not a good thing but eating the other additives is just as bad if not worse. Michael Moore would benefit in a mild to moderate cardio workout and a reduction to a 2200 calorie diet and he'd lose weight because he is buring alot just carrying his big body around all day.

Michael has a great political message but he has no clue about health. Red meat is not the problem. The problem with the standard american diet is the heavily processed food and the excess sugar. If you look at history you'll see many populations that ate plenty of red meat and saturated fats but they didn't have an epidemic of obesity, heart disease, diabetes etc. like we do.

You think you don't have enough so you have the federal government raise minimum wage because businesses can afford it but in reality they can't. So the ship their jobs to countries with workers that appreciate a job. You want laws on polluters even though pollution isn't that bad and all those frivolous laws do is raise prices and lower wages. People's greed is what is ruining jobs.

@calbiker I work very hard, harder than most people. I worked multiple jobs at once while attending college and I was very smart with my money. Those insurance companies create jobs, many jobs. If you remove their profits they wouldn't be able to create jobs or provide afforable health care insurance. People leave Canada and Germany to get away form their from of socialize government. Also, if it wasn't for high taxes and regulations then maybe health care wouldn't cost so much.
