I don't like this new trend of the Jeigan character not sucking. Titania and Seth being GOOD characters? What's the point of giving you a strong character with high growths right at the start of the game? They're probably trying to make Fire Emblem "easier" since the market has supposedly dumbed down. Anyone who's played FE6 (with Roy/Lilina) knows it used to be a lot harder.

This is very true, but you could always do what I do.

If you're given a strong character like Titania and Seth at the beginning, just avoid using them.

They won't level up at all. Won't that affect a character?

@SolBuster They're overpowered from the beginning. Meaning, you'll be tempted to use them more than any other character, which means that they'll get more battle time and more experience rather than the characters that need it.

So, I just dont use them whatsoever, and my other characters benefit from it since they get more battle time + more experience, which equals higher levels.

The only characters that it affects are the ones that you don't use, since you don't use them. lol

Uh, FE5 anybody? FE6 has nothing on it. 100% chance crit endlessly respawning barbarians with devil axes = hard.

@iiiiiifggffggffgfgfg I agree, the RNG of FE5 was complete bullshit. I've never been TOTALLY fucked over by it, but the hit percentages are, shall we say, misleading.

@moonlitearthx14 Titania and Seth are Oifey arch-type characters which means they start as Jeigans but end with good stats. Titania is always good in my games

@moonlitearthx14 uhh the reason jeigans are bad to use is they hamstring your exp gain more than anything. Not to say this game isn't too easy but I don't think Seth and Titania being good is the real problem there.
