it depends on the trainer and how much they work themselves to become flexible. some of them might be naturally flexible, some arn't, but if you practice and strech, you can reach flexibility.

Hello, Ashley. They say if you made a flexible move and same time it hurts then you're doing it correct. It has to hurt but not so much if you push yourself and get used to. But if it doesn't hurt, then you're not doing it correct.
In RG, you need patience and you have to work hard if you want to do things good so it will be painful first then muscles will build, and you won't feel the pain. You'll get used to it if you practice everyday. You're not only who's gonna face it! Be careful and good luck. =)
You should be also still very young to do it; if you over 12 I don't think you'll never be able to practise gymnastics. The fact is that when women grow up, they loose most of childhood's flexibility.

Heyy! I've been watching rhythmic gym videos for a while now, and yours are definately among the best ones! I absolutely love R.G and looking at your other comments it seems that you do it too. I'm a really keen dancer and want dance professionally - prefferably musical theatre but I'd like to be more flexible. I was wondering could you tell me any ways of improving flexibility in your back because it is really stiff in comparison to my legs!

well it hurts a little but u have to deal with the pain but it doesnt really hurt! and the pain is really worth!!!
