  • its 114hp at the wheels, the average vts/gti lump with decat exhaust system (e.g. pugsport), induction kit and a good remap will usually make anywhere from 140-155bhp.

  • nice motor mate. one of my friends has a s1 rallye with a vts lump in it got a vts rear beam aswell. think its a bit more powerful than 114bhp though now it has tbs on. still not bad :)

  • i didnt get...it was a rallye with a vts engine swap...????

  • Its a 106 S1 Rallye [albeit bodyshell & suspension], with a 16v VTS engine in it now.

  • why didnt u put a rallye 1.6 16v engine??i think it pulls outs 123hp..thnx 4 the reply though..

  • there is no such thing as a rallye 16v engine.. Not in the UK anyway. S1 rallye is a lively 1.4 8v, the s2 rallye is a 1.6 8v engine, basically a saxo VTR with a few changes internally & to management i believe to produce a couple more bhp. 16v options are 106 GTI, or Saxo VTS. I belive abroad in some places they are called the Saxo Cup, but dont quote me on that =]

  • The s1 rallye is 1.3 8v not 1.4

  • @JessopVTS

    106 Rallye S1 is 1.3 8v 100bhp - a had one

106 Rallye S2 is 1.6 8v 100bhp, but you could also get a factory made (for example in Slovenia) 106 Rallye S2 with 1.6 16v engine with 118bhp, a friend of mine is selling one!

  • @JessopVTS s1 rallye are 1.3 8v mate the xsi is 1.4.8v and 1.6 8v

  • ace car mate!
