  • please look my video, and give you'r opinion about my video. thanks.

  • music man is the best for slap. if I try music man I always think how the slap will sound on this instrument.

  • i like the 2 eq better than the 3...the mid in the 3 seems to take out the punch some how...you cant go wrong with a maple neck...as for the sterling sb14 i thought it was a great bass, espscially if you buy a nordstrad pick up for it...i didnt like the ray 34 so much..it felt really LIGHT and flimsey to me..its a quality bass but not my bag, but for the record the 2 band eq sounds much more punchy and wonderful..id love to pick up a classic stingray..ive already got 3 sterlings!

  • For the question of "what's the difference between the Classic Stingray and this, there is the obvious that has been pointed out, but there is perhaps a more significant difference as well: the pickup on the Classic Sterling is wired in series and the Classic Stingray is wired in Parallel. May not sound like much, but if you play them side-by-side, it does make a significant difference. I wouldn't say one is better--it just depends on your style and the music.

  • :/

  • Worst demo ever?

  • WHY IS THIS VIDEO DISLIKED SO MUCH?

  • @KyleUnwin Because he can't play. It would have been much more informative if he had the right attack and speed.

  • @KyleUnwin i have no idea maybe they don't think the musicman is the perfect bass? personally i thought it sounded great

  • @MORGAN1992FREEM4N yeah I thought it sounded great too i didn't get why it was so disliked, also may i just say i love your display picture

  • @KyleUnwin why thank you good sir, may i say you have a mighty taste in music ;)

  • @Punkid1030 it's called Panic Switch by Silversun Pickups. Really cool and fun bassline

  • HAIR!!

  • how to send CV to do your job?

  • sx :D

  • All of the differences sound good.... why is the Stingray so much more expensive? I am looking to get a sterling Ray34, which is only $600. is that a good buy?

  • @thebandwithnonameyet The Ray34 is great! We just got a shipment of the new Ray34 and Ray35's today in fact! They are excellent instruments at a great price! But there is a difference between the USA made Music Man basses and the imported Sterling line... If you want a Music Man bass or guitar, but aren't in that price range...the Sterling Line is the way to go!

  • @theperfectbass Ive been trying to research on my own, but havent had much luck in finding out exactly what the differences are between a regular Mucicman Stingray and a Sterling by Musicman Ray 34? I want to buy an actual ray, but dont have the cash sadly, does the bargain of the ray34 come at a cost elecronics wise? Any feedback would be much appreciated :)

  • @thebandwithnonameyet cant go wrong with any of them,i have a 16year old 2 band stingray that looks as good as new and its been used 5 nights a week for nearly 10 years..the finish/build of MM guitars is hard to beat.dont rule out second hand but try before you buy in my personal view they sounds better as they age..

  • @thebandwithnonameyet don't buy that cheap 600$ shit its a waste of money. Buy the Sb14 musicman sterling, their like 1400 dollars and more than worth it. With any good instrument, you buy big, or you may as well go home empty handed. getting that ray34 for 600$ is like going home empty handed. Trust me. you can buy alot of cheap stuff and get rid of it quickly, or you can by a very nice thing and enjoy it for the rest of your life.

these salesmen just want you to buy the first thing you see..

  • @TheTelepathetics The thing is though, I played the ray34 at guitar center, and i actually really liked it. I made sure to play to play the expensive musicman Stingray as well, and it was slightly better, but it wasnt 1000 dollars better...

  • @thebandwithnonameyet maybe you liked the way the cheaper one played better for some strange reason, but if you somehow thought in your brain that the ray34 sounded any better then the expensive one, you need to learn what good bass tone is.. lol..

  • @TheTelepathetics no i didnt like how it played better, or how it soudned better. all im saying is they were extremely close, and i didnt think that the Stingray was worth the extra thousand dollars than the Sterling Ray34. im a broke highschool kid.

  • @thebandwithnonameyet i guess if ur broke thats a different story. But there is a pretty big difference between the two of them you'll start to notice. I mean the ray34 is good if u don't have alot of money to spend. at least its not some cheap epiphone garbage shit

  • @TheTelepathetics Yeah, I definitely think that it is a much better "off brand" than Squier or Epiphone.

  • @thebandwithnonameyet those things are so bad..

  • playmobile hair :P awesome bass dude

  • @rhcpbassmaniac dude? are you a surfer?! :|

  • sorry, what's the difference between this and the stingray classic? same pickup, same electronics, same bridge.. where's the difference?

  • @bRaKK0 The difference is like herrdruhl said. The Sterling has a smaller, slightly offset body and the neck is narrower at the nut. They also tend to weigh a little less than the StingRays. Otherwise, they have the same features. Hope this helps! TPB

  • What's the main difference of Sterling's that are the same as normal MusicMan's, cause some Sterling's are just as much as MM's.

  • @Dugger1997 Hey, the Sterling has a thinner neck at the nut, and smaller body.

  • GAS!

  • Panic Switch by Silversun Pickups? I love this guy!

  • That bass is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That guy doing the video is pretty hot too!!!!!

  • Nice! Have you guys done a similar clip for the Classic Stingray? (I searched, but didn't find one.) I'd love to see it. Thanks.

  • @mikewattdisciple We haven't gotten to the StingRay yet... It's coming! Stay tuned and subscribe to our channel! Peace!

  • @mikewattdisciple theres a classic stingray video now, and they are the greatest (especially with the birdseye maple neck).

  • muting pads in the bridge? how do they work?

  • @darrenandsarah123 There are small knobs under the strings right in front of the pads that raise and lower them. When you have them up against the strings they are kind of like having your right hand mute the strings. There's an adjustment knob for each string. Pretty cool if you're looking for that old school vibe... ;)

    Peace!

  • @theperfectbass oh, that sounds pretty sweet
