I understand Hollywood has ruined a lot of game adaptations but this is one movie that has no excuse. Every Uncharted has a fairly simple plot with easy characters to find actors to play. Every game could easily and seamlessly be converted to motion-picture because of how it was made. There is NO excuse they could have to fuck this up!

i don't think that looking like drake is nearly as important as playing drake Wahlberg poor choice but Fillion doesn't really scream big screen material to me either so i don't know personally i never liked star gate Atlantis but i think Joe Flanigan would do a great job of portraying him. i know his movie experience is nil as well but the personality just fits. and Emily Rose should play Elena not because she is the voice actor or because she looks like her but because she is emily rose.

Nolan is more than capable at doing the film. The only reason he might not get in is cos the director will probably want some famous guy to be in the lead role. I'm not a fanboy of Mark Wahlberg but I really think he wouldn't be bad. For example Harrison Ford was a proffesional carpenter before he had his Oscar winning movie's like Star War's and Indiana Jones. Just saying Harrison Ford didn't have that much sucess with his first roles in movies and TV ("Ironside" (1967), "The Virginian" (1962). I think Mark could surprise us not saying he's anything like Harrison Ford but you can't just count him out. I sersiously think Steven Spielberg should direct.

In the Game Of Thrones TV show they aged up Eddard Stark by over 15 years from what he is in the books (Stark's supposed to be in his thirties, Sean Bean's in his fifties) and that worked fine.
