unlike most comments i WOULDDNT like that cause its mostly good for `1. Bringing to a star wars convention or something and 2. For show. Not something you would want to play with around the house alot. Better to buy the smaller and cheaper one that is actually quite awsome

@therunescapemasters1 This is a case of "It's not the having, it's the getting." Most people who build R2s do it just to do it. Kind of like why people climb mountains; ask any mountain climber why he does it, and he'll most likely say something to the tune of "Because it's there, man."

Same way with the R2 builders. We don't build so we can have a droid, though that's part of it for sure. We build more for the challenge of making a droid and saying, "Look what I can accomplish."

@therunescapemasters1 That's difficult to answer, as my preference is to build. My best guess is that one would be very popular with the local community, because one could make charitable appearances with Artoo at cub scout meetings, children's hospitals, and other places and events for kids. Making appearances is half the fun of owning an Artoo, because there's nothing like seeing a child's eye light up at seeing one of his movie heroes jump off the silver screen and into reality.
