How good and fun is the Iceman one man ?

@MaxMysterium I love the way the shine reflects through it, he's very cool... One leg is a bit loose from what I've seen, but the accessory is cool and he truly looks like ice. Shorter than most figures, so he fits the younger Bobby Drake maybe more than the modern one. I prefer him a lot to what I've seen of the 3pack MU one.

Yeah, they hadn't released it at the time though... I own both now, and wish I didn't, because the coming Marvel Universe Colossus looks vastly superior... Ha, but what can you do? On the Colossus front, Hasbro has played me like a fiddle.

I have to give the Wolverine line props...there is great attention to detail, especially the wolverine figures. But I agree, the posability of the MU line is superior. Why do you think, in both cases, Hasbro's accessories SUCK for Marvel's figures? For the G.I Joes, the accessories are kick ass. For Marvel figures, they are shit. Gambit's staff looks like a Tootsie Roll sticks... Spider-Man's webs look like a snot rocket...Pun's guns look like a potato shooter. The list goes on and on....

Yeah, some of the accessories could be better, but some are alright. The rifles/machine guns have been pretty good, and the Hand Ninjas accessories are great. I think Hasbro's mentality is that we'll care about who the figure is than the accessories, which is actually true for me. The accessories hardly affect how much I like some of the figures, but some do need good ones, like Punisher or Goblin.

the same shit happened to me with the Iceman figure. I went to Target one morning just for kicks and saw the usual shit...Hand Ninjas, The Thing, The Human Torch...I was about to walk away and then lo and behold the Iceman figure was just sitting there...you know I didn't wait to snatch that bitch up!!! Still, why the hell can't I pose these figures! The Gambit one is as gimpy as my grandpa.

The Gambit is tough, he needed a more flexible coat and ankle joints... But I don't find the others too bad. They aren't on the same level as the MU by any means, but they're manageable in my opinion. Some of the stuff Hasbro does is strange though. For example, Deadpool has perfectly good ankle joints but they put straps over them so that they can't move.

I believe all the figures you've listed there appeared in a line by ToyBiz called Marvel Legends Showdown Series. They were same scale figures done with Marvel Legends style articulation with some sort of game to go with. However, Juggernaut and Dr. Doom are appearing later in the year for the Marvel Universe line, and Venom has just been released for a new Spider-Man line in this scale, though with quite lacking leg articulation. Let me know of any other questions!

Thanks for the look man. I got them at either Wal*Marts, Targets, or Toys R Us. You have to hunt a bit, but that's half the fun. Some of them are kind of shelf sitters, and shouldn't be hard to find still, while others are nearly gone entirely. Some should be getting re-released though, like Bullseye and X-Force Wolverine are supposed to. If you got any other questions, let me know.
