  • I do not enjoy serrated blades, at least not for main blades, one huge reason why I did never bother with the Gerber BG "survival knife", I keep a huge sami knife for heavy work and a couple of smaller blades for other crap like carving n stuff :p

  • i got the one that just has the main blade n the toothpick n tweezers, its one of my favorite knifes but i hate the backwards liner lock!

  • Theres a newer generation now the main things you can notice is the hole for the thumb on the blade is fully rounded and the victorinox swiss made sign is right next to the hole and its not 25 dollars like this one its 60

  • @samstterhamstteer wow, that is a big price increase. I got this one from Amazon. Maybe it would be cheaper there.

  • @GlockNinja yea i checked amazon it was around 60 the thing is with the swiss made sign on the hole and the overall look of the knife and the blade it looks like its a better quality knife if your able to find close up pictures most sites have the standard pic and it seems no different then the 25 dollar one , maybe the liner lock is more solid i dont know , wtv the reason is its probably more pricey for a reason or maybe the swiss guys are money hungry now

  • I bought one, really great knife. Mine is 'just' the knife tho, no extra tools (tweasers and toothpick + knife)

  • @Sandman267 Still...it is a good blade. It will serve you well.

  • You seriously think that a chisel grind is sharper than a double bevel?

  • @dannyboydx35 yes

  • "Tha Vicranocks" lol. I dunno why but that was funny

  • Victorinox knives are bad. no edge holding.

  • @ShotgunToter I've never sharpened mine and I've used it to open boxes and cut paper, (which is the worst thing to do with a knife). And it held an edge for me. Not perfect, but its good.

  • @ShotgunToter They are awesome for the multi tool purpose (can opener, screwdriver ect) but Id always carry a main knife like a spyderco or a Coldsteel. The knife on the Swiss knife is just a backup blade too me... or for small tasks like opening mail or dvds, cds.

  • thanks for review

  • u r welcome. Thank you for watching. :-)

  • damn, know I see why it has a hole on the blade, but mine has it little, not large, does it has something to do with the fact that I live in mexico or what???

  • LOL

  • u missed the wire stripper

  • wire stripper? Where is the wire stripper? I could use that.

  • the little notch under the bottle opener

  • Its on bottle opener.

  • I bought it at 44sfr in swiss...

the price is the same everywhere ....

i can't imagine that you can kill somebody with it :(... (i meant affective kill)...

cool nife with great qa. what i needed...

    p.s. i have the new version 09...

    a bit better....

  • i've got similar knife, from German Army, also made by Victorinox. its the same, apart of saw. really nice piece of steel

  • Yes. I agree. Very nice steel and really good quality.

  • why would you want a saw and a serrated blade?

  • I actually have used the saw to cut a circle into press board and cut small branches. The serrated blade is good for cutting objects with smooth surfaces.

  • It may have more features, but it's less portable, and harder to hold for long, or even short, periods of time.

  • i have a SwissChamp. Way better than the One-Hand-Trekker

  • I see you typing, but I don't see you showing. Make a video response and show us that knife!!!! :-)

  • u suckkkkkkkkk check out nutnfancy

  • thank you for your honest opinion. I did check out Nutnfancy briefly. I subscribed to him just to see what he is all about.

  • i think its a one-hand trekker

  • Your Right

  • what is the actual name of this model, this is the first i've seen with that thumb ring and it locking

  • I do not know the model. It is not written anywhere on the knife. Sorry. But it was only $26.00 on Amazon. Type in Victorinox Knives

  • Thats a great knife you have there.

  • Thanks you.

  • I don't know how you got to one side being sharpened equaling longer sharpening life...?

  • One side is flat and the other side is angled. If you were to sharpen this blade you would only have to sharpen one side. With a normal edged blade, you have to sharpen both sides equally and if you don't, you will wind up with an uneven edge.

  • swiss army knives are great

  • Yes they are. The Victorinox is the real deal.

  • @ThingsontheWeb you should had seen the China's new multi function shovel ,you would be amazed!

  • Cool knife, great for slitting wrists (Only joking)

  • O.o uh....

  • that's a cool knife Glock Ninja..... nice product review!

  • thank you.

  • Is their any Victorinox that is better than this one? But still relatively cheap?

  • this was the lowest priced one I saw that had all the tools that it had. I think there are other ones that have different sort of tools but this one has the tools I like.

  • I've been looking for a swiss army knife, I think this is the one, thanks for the review!

  • Thanks for watching the video. I'm glad it was useful. :-)
