  • why did you use a cross-over cable between routers and computers? i thought cross-overs are for connecting two same devices? im confused T_T

  • @MadmanGoneMad2012 Because no switch is between router and client. You´ve to use cross over in packet tracer when you connect two end devices without any switch between the link

  • @19sYrOX91 got it, thanks. Lol took you months to respond xD

  • hey could you do one for eigrp? 3 router 3 serial 3 end devices, im having trouble after i manually set bandwidth to lower it still takes the dc link w/ 5 bandwidth rather then going thru the other router

  • NO, THANK YOUU !

    Thx man Great mini tutorial.

  • why wildcard 0.0.255.255??? it should be calculated like 0.0.0.255? coz subnet mask 255.255.255.0

  • Do you have a video to verify ospf on a router

  • @JKC327 Yes it does

  • Can someone explain why is clockrate normally 64000?

  • why did'nt u advertise ur bandwidth?... I thought it was necesssary!

  • thanks a lot!

  • ok i only have one complaint about the video. not much theory behind what you do. you explained WHAT to do very well, but not WHY you do it. WHY use wildcard masks? WHY do you use the "network" command? other than that, good vid. got me a good start on OSPF. thanks!

  • @blackbelt12502 well, it still is a how to video, not a why to :). But yet, you're right, actully u have no clue what you're doing, but annyways, this helped me alot! Got a huge TCP/IP exam in 3 days and i'm shaking if i see what we have to do!!

    thanks for this id buddy

  • @taocircle Duhhh, never mind I answered my own question. Because they are serial point-to-point links which there will be no DR (love learning this stuff). And forget the email I sent you because I figured out what I did wrong. Thanks for posting this great video
