@765tony There are some people who, if your life was in danger, they would either try to protect you or at least call the cops. Then you have people, like Bill Garretson, whom if placed in a dangerous situation, the only person they'll ever look out for are themselves. That's why he doesn't talk. He figured the least that was required from him by law, the more distance he could place between himself and the murderers. He only acts like he's stupid but is smarter than what he lets on to others.

To me its so sad and disgusting how some people actually choose to support manson and his followers. A woman never got to have her baby, a baby never got to live, & 6 other people are dead because of what they did. And how can sum people say they feel sorry for those monsters. Feel sorry for the victims. At least manson & those animals can cry their fake tears, make their fake apologies, & breathe everyday. That's more than they deserve & that's more than what the victims got.

I am glad to see some photos and attention paid to Abigail Folger. Wiki her name and see what a big-hearted humanitarian she was.

She was wealthy and could have lived like Paris Hilton, but dedicated her time and energy to helping the world instead. Not many 25 year olds are so giving. She was basically a saint in her short time.

Any Bruce Lee fans out there? We owe a debt of gratitude to Jay Sebring! He saw Bruce give a demonstration at a tournament in Long Beach. Later, when TV producer William Dozier was looking to cast someone for the role of Charlie Chan's number one son -- and happened to be getting his hair cut by Sebring -- Jay mentioned a young man from Hong Kong named Bruce Lee. Dozier followed up and, long story short, that led to Bruce's role as Kato on The Green Hornet. The rest is history...

I've never seen many pics of Abigail. From what I read, she had a HUGE heart. Did lots of volunteer work, fundraising for free clinics (including one in SF where Manson family members had been treated), and worked with underprivileged kids from the slums of L.A.

She worked to advance civil rights, and gave time and money to the campaigns of RFK and Tom Bradley. She could have kicked back and enjoyed her money like Paris Hilton, but she gave her heart to the world.

im a little surprised that there is not more rememberence for steven. I guess his parents did not want publicity. However I certainly remember. It hurts my soul that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Rest in peace my brother.

That's nice -and i 'm glad you included Gibby and the rest - don't get me wrong Sharon is missed greatly but it is nice to see the others focused on too. Imagine the pain they ALL went through . I hope they are safe, happy and warm now.

right jay and sharon were together till the end. he loved her you dont need to know them to see the love was there!!!! its clear to me! he was there that night he didnt have to be there, i bet he was saying goodnight to her then they came in and did ugggg that horror, i think she was ready for bed he was ready to leave, and then you know the rest. had jay not been there oh god what if she had been alone at that house.

You should understand that Jay provided Sharon's "look" for much of the time she was popular. They were VERY close friends. There was a love between them. Please never discount that.
