  • Yes, cool and out of this world tune, right on.

  • If there's smoke burning, it's Nag Champa. Probably.

  • @HeartoftheDragonColo Are you sure that it is not Californian Skunk?

  • When Pindar was in the band he did all of the Odes...

  • I laughed when I saw "fluoroscope!" I thought it was, "two notes of the chord, that's our "forescope!" For all these years, I did! In fact, just the other day, I was looking in the dictionary for "forescope." It's not there.

I have a hard time understanding limeys, anyway. Ok, after 40+ years, this old geezer hippie stands corrected; it's "full scope!"

  • @turdy3birdy "old geezer hippie"? lol. well I've been called worse.

  • mmmm purple oms.anyone remember those?damn they were good acid.

  • OOOMMMMMMMMMMMM thank you much!!! BEN OM 4 YEARS!!!

  • Well Done--Really dug it.

  • This has just blown me away.... the visuals are awesome

  • yes, its "full scope" not fluoroscope. 2 people couldn't pronounce the word.

  • @SuperBigrandy ... I thought it was "horoscope."

  • this song captured the pinnacle of the counter culture in 1967 in san francisco quite well. in fact the whole album did. comparable to the beatles. those silly kids with flowers in their hair...lol

  • Wonderful song.

  • I remember a free concert they put on behind Dodger Stadium in the early 70's. Also saw them at Madison Square Garden. They were one of my favorites.........

  • I am soooo Blissed

  • SacredMojo. Thanks, thanks, thanks a lot. You put up these awesome visuals with my favourite tune...and now I have to go buy a better video card. Thanks a lot man!

  • This song was instrumental in getting me into looking in to eastern philosophy and yoga. Wonderful song from Mike.

    Thanks for posting this video.

    Tony.

  • @SenorSpode Dito and mega kudos for expressing it -- Now I see that consciousness came to this point in the baby boom gen after the most horrific war the world ever knew -- that awareness and light gives us the tools to transform the world into a place in which our predecessors can thrive and enjoy. So, our light bears us a great responsibility: give light back to the world, the heart, for ALL of our children’s children’s... Moodies keep their song of light alive; other songs live on in heart.

  • No one like The Moody Blues! Awesome song! Thanks!

  • I can play this on sitar. It's really bloody awesome.

  • @Southernmetalhippie I'd like to see you put it up on youtube video....how about it? Rock on dude...

  • Majestic and profound!

  • OM! Michael Pinder is still keeping to the message. This song epitomizes what the Moody Blues has meant to me through the years. The beauty and creativity of the wonderful "Lost Chord" album summed up here in one word. Searching for meaning and love and finding it in God Within. Keep the love in your heart and feel peace take hold. Blessings.

  • psychodelic! thanks! Aum!

  • Thank you for posting this. And the quote at the end. Truly beautiful.

  • Love is God

    God is Love

    Behold but the One

it's the seconds that leads you astray

  • I discovered this video is best experienced with 3D glasses on! For me this is one of the greatest albums ever, love the Moodys.

  • Makes me wanna do some meditation right now!

  • OMG! This is so powerful...the song, of course, and your visuals. I was in my own little world when the Moody Blues were popular so I don' t know their music. I love this! Thank you!

  • Why hasn't this video got more views? Oh I remember, most people are idiots.

  • He who joyfully marches to music rank and file, has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice. Let's all follow a lamb and not think for ourselves and show our individualism.

  • @Normanskie

Great writing. Is this yours? I would like to use it. That said, I am not sure how it applies here. This song has taken me a marvelous voyages of imagination (sometimes with requisite stimulations) that is uniquely mine. I can only hope to make a video worthy of them.

  • Unfortunately as much as I would like to lay claim to the piece of prose it belongs to a chap called - Albert Einstein - up to ... a spinal cord would surely suffice and then I added the extra end bit on. It is nice and true.

  • i was just thinking that-lol

  • I found nirvana. Thank you for posting. It was right in front of me and I didn't even know it. The universe.

  • Another fantastic montage for a another great musical wonderment called The Moody Blues. I grew up listening to these guys on headphones and the lights out to let thier music take me to my sacred planes of enlightenment that no one else had gone before. I love the imagry, what screensaver or software did you use to get the golden strings that morphed into rendered pieces of art?

  • Wow...

The word to this song are fuckin amazing.

My dad plays the Moody Blues from time to time and I find it fascinating especially when you're chopped=).

It seems so much more meaningful than a lot of songs today.

  • Wow this is amazing. I never heard this song before.

  • "This garden universe, vibrates complete, and to hear the sun, what a thing to believe, but it's all around if we could but percieve, to reach the chord is our life's hope". Those particular english voices from my youth still ring so familiar, bless the Moodys.

  • oh mojo....what a wonderful time travelling experience this was, :D :) :) We used to listen to this when I was a teenager on a reel to reel in a room with strobe lights and a lava lamp, black light posters, other necessities.....this is great and I thank you for it.

    peace and earth muffin hugs,

    vicki.

  • now this..is something MAGICAL *-*

  • Thank you for this feast for the eyes and ears, Mojo. And thank you for the OM - I needed some OtherworldlyMoodjaja - a mouthful, yes, but you planted the seed. Love your ending logo.....

  • GREAT video... Love the effects...very cool!

    Peace and hugs, Dave

  • This is amazing to hear this today..I had just sent a message to a dear friend, TigersAtPlay and, I used the word OM in our conversation..and then, you sent this..how cool and connected is that..yeah, I am weird/different like dat..thank you so much for the Moody Blues Classic!! 5*S for sure...

  • Is that Graham speaking?

  • Graeme wrote The Word but Mike Pinder recited it. Both Mike Pinder and Ray Thomas share vocals on OM.

  • @SacredMojo i think mike did the narration on higher and higher on the record but since he is no longer on I mean in the group grahme does it one source quotes hayward as saying he wrote nights in white satin before he was even in the group but in a actuall inteview you here him say he wrote it to sound something like dawn is a feeling by mike

  • @spacepatrolman tears flowing.. i miss my old friends who tip-toed with me, in heavens...
