Well all I can say is I have the same setup except with a upr o/r x-pipe and it has a much more controlled sound. Pypes x-pipes are known for that popping sound. It makes that sound with just about any catback.
@jeepdude275 you realize that the pypes o/r x and the upr o/r x are the same design right? the only difference is the pypes is higher quality and made out of stainless steel...whereas the upr is made of aluminized steel.

That pypes x-pipe ruins it. I have a upr piece with my terminator catback and it gets rid of that popping overpowering sound.

I went to the sss website, but they only have the 304 stainless steal ones. I'm not sure if thats the Teminator Mufflers.
