Scottie stepped up and worked hard. I can'r say that much for todays greats. So many players that should be at the top of their game. They aren't dedicated like they used to be. They are rich spoiled brats sometimes. He kept it humble and did what he was paid to do.

Even in the days when I just didnt feel right or couldnt put up the big numbers or play the way I wanted to play, I knew he would pick me up and take control of the team. scottie you are and always be amazing, your soo cool, wonderful game style, man...you are a legend,i know about mj and all that, but not body could deny your talent,besides you are the reason why mj and chicago won 6 title, why? cos when the enemys went after mj, you carried the team on your shoulder so now they're under pressure thinking that ..besides mj they have to deal with u too, and that was the key to success.

This is by far the best News i've had in the last 2 years. Scottie is my all time favorite player for the only reason that he makes his team and teammates better. (not just score or be fancy). His defense is sofocating and I dont think anyone has the awareness that he was during a game.(not even Michael). Anyway, I see Sweden and Finland very strong in the future because of the knowledge of basketball that Scottie will share with them. Smartest move made by an organization. Go Scottie!!
