  • aids was created in a lab to

  • i want to glowin the dark O_O

  • Dinosaurs will come out from underground; antichrist is a white gay man with red eyes; mark of the antichrist is a green electronic tattoo with sixes that is given when one stretches their hand to receive world passport; ufos=demons=aliens=ascended masters=ghosts=channeled entities=dead relatives during seances; atlantis is underneath mariana trench; china will attack russia; don't worship the antichrist; don't take his mark; don't go into a ufo ship under any circumstances

  • those kittehs will never ever caught a mouse meal every night ..

  • I don't give a shit about animal rights, but in my personal opinion humans have no right to engineer nature, especially genetic modification is way too far.

  • @Billywask even if it can help save people's lives?

  • I think animal testing is perfectly acceptable as long as it doesn't hurt or humiliate them to be honest.

I hope this research goes well!

  • Why oh why do we need a "glow in the dark cat?" 1st of all, for anyone who has

visited a laboratory that test on animals, pls reply. Of course, as in the real world, there on good & bad labs. Hopefully, the inhumane animal labs, do not skin or burn. Donate your pet for science. He will love it. See how Fido is locked up in a under sized cage-lovely.

tiny cage and never allowed to run free. We humans, as a whole, are cruel,

    uncaring and selfish.

  • wow this is a really interesting one

  • Thats just so wrong to give them HIV

Glow in the dark is good. All the better to see them of a night to run them over.

HIV kills them slow a 1500kg car over the haed is fast and if you are a red neck you can eat road kill but not a HIV death

  • @JustinJamesUK Nope, there is a gene in the jellyfish that makes it glow, nothing to do with radiation Bro. MMMM readybrek, loved that as a kid H&R

  • @THA7MANJB i couldnt agree with you more Bro on this one, top marks H&R

  • @golfernky glad you think so H&R

  • @MrMarchant71 Thing is thou Bro i would have issues with glow in the dark cats being sold as a novelty H&R as always

  • It's a fascinating story, and although I am very much against testing on animals myself, this looks to be a little different. Do we know if 'glow-in-the-dark' cats are perfectly healthy?

  • @PaulSaywood I hope they are Bro, i'll be following this issue very close you can bet your life on that, if i get anymore info i'll be passing it on H&R Bro

  • @DibbersPage They are ok, only difference between those cats and normal ones is that these have part of DNA extracted from certain type of jellyfish implemented in their own... It makes them fight AIDS like people fight common cold, but it doesn`t have negative effects on them at all...

  • @PaulSaywood In theory they should be perfectly healthy. Their green glow comes from a bioluminescent protein found naturally in certain species of jellyfish, which was inserted into their genes before they were born. Also, these cats were bred specifically to be resistant to HIV/AIDS, so I'm sure their perfectly fine. : )

  • @PaulSaywood Yes, They are, This doesn't hurt the cats, just makes them glow, The color is jellyfish genes, and isn't anything like a chemical. They've been made before, in 2007, go ahead and look up the cat mr green genes, Pretty sure he's fine.

  • @PaulSaywood i think so they have only gotten iserted a geen from a jelly fish

  • @PaulSaywood yes they are perfectly healthy and normal in every regards (minus the glow). What makes them glow is a certain type of protien.

  • @PaulSaywood they are perfectly healthy, ACTUAL animal teasing is like shoving a suppository up a dogs ass that could be fatal to see if it gives you a boner. this just affects the geonome to make them more resiliant and look badass, its more like a built in vaccine.

  • @PaulSaywood Just found this vid due to fact we are currently making ecoli glow (2nd bio student at uni) . The protein that makes the kittens glow is in the most part responsible for protecting them from the feline hiv. Sorry i cant be more exact at the moment but basically imagine the difference between blonde hair or brown as thats the same in a sense.

  • It's a difficult area to talk about as no matter what you say you will offend someone ,but to find a cure for this horrible virus you need to do some experiments it's the only way ,but if it works towards finding a solution, well let it be ..

  • @spektrum33 I tend to agree as long as its also used to help the animal kingdom and they aint left to suffer after they have been used to find a cure H&R

  • I believe that many animal rights activists use unfair strategies to delay or stop medical research. These are the very same people, who in one way or another, have benefited from the very same research they are protesting against!Teatments, cures, & vaccines that are available today would not have been possible without animal research. But there are still many diseases that have no cure or treatment. Therefore, as long as animal research continues to be done humanely, I will continue to support it.

  • @gdubrow13 many thanks for your input on this topic H&R

  • I'm a animal lover too but If they need to sacrifice a few cats to find a cure for this terrible illness i don't have a problem with it as long as the cats are treated humanely

  • @flraptor07 i tend to agree H&R

  • It would be great if a cure for cat AIDS could be found but with regards to research into curing human HIV/AIDS, it's not just monkeys that have immunity to HIV, there's a % of humans who are naturally immune too - there was a man in the USA who was cured of HIV after receiving a bone marrow transplant - for leukemia - from a donor with immunity. Research into human immunity may be more relevant to humans than monkey genes.

  • @carlyonv I'll have to do a little research on that, thanks for the info H&R

  • as a vet tech I had to euthenize many cats with Feline Aids...it's highly contagious

  • @ThePigFacedDog I had no idea how much a problem feline AIDS was until I took my cat in for an injury she received from anther cat. The vet was worried about her getting HIV, but she didn't....We were fortunate...

  • That's why I always get my critters their shots. You can get them for less than $10 at any tractor supply or local feed mill and give 'em myself ;)

  • @ThePigFacedDog Defo always made sure my cats had their jabs, both lived full and long lives H&R

  • @ThePigFacedDog so ive been told Bro, i dont have probs with this research as long as it also helps the animal kingdom H&R

  • I love animals far more than I do humans. Hence why I did animal rescue in New Orleans after Katrina

  • Great video as per usual,Dibs.

  • @miles2057 many thanks Miles H&R Bro

  • I have lost a couple of Cats that got Feline Aids .. so if this in the long term will help stop this then I suppose its OK to try it out on them but potentially is going to be great for the human race..

  • @AS6VIDEO I tend to agree as this work is also to help the animal kingdom and not just humans, my friend had a cat die from this illness and it wasnt nice H&R Bro

  • i agree with you bro i think its a great idea

    H&R

    Guy

  • @lightweight69 i think it is as long as the animals have good treatment H&R

  • If it saves human lives, so be it.

  • @DianaH18 glad you think so H&R

  • I love animals too, but i also think that it is worth it if it finds a way to treat HIV in humans. To think of the thousands (maybe millions) of people who have HIV and the benefits that a treatment or even a cure will have. it will be life changing. I know we are a fair way off yet, but it is certainly amazing steps towards a treatment or cure

  • @VampireSlayer94 There are well over 100.000 people on the register in the UK alone Bro, thats just the reported cases H&R

  • As long as thes animals are being respected and well treated then I have no problem with it. Aids is a horrible disease and if it can be delt with at the cost of a few glow in the dark cats...do it! and just as they people have problems with giving children vacines the good it does outweighs the bad.

  • @LatigidGolana i tend to agree with you on that H&R

  • Animal rights activists need to step back, a lot of stuff they do is indeed helpful but we need to test stuff on something, its a fine line but this is something that is needed and yeah ive heard the death row inmates being used for "a greater cause" and ya know they are going to die either way i mean these are humans like the rest of us and it shouldn't be outside the realms of signing a form or two giving willfull consent to have tests on them to assist in the greater causes of humankind.

  • @axom20 couldnt have put that better myself H&R

  • I noticed the bones of a fish I ate once glowed in the dark

  • @DownUnderDoug how odd Bro, what type of fish was it as i'd like to look it up H&R

  • @DibbersPage The fish was a leather jacket, there are a couple of types of them

  • I am of the same views as you on this m8! I am one of the biggest animal lovers, but if these tests can save so much pain and suffering of humans and animals, then it is worth it! However i do also think they should test on evil murders and sex offenders first! Thumbs up bro!

  • @chinwart Murderers and sex offendes? How about politicians, much more deserving if you ask me... ;0)

  • @chinwart glad you feel the same Bro H&R

  • pretty wild dude....

  • @NatePinkyVideos sure is bro H&R

  • mmmm How interesting, It is sad that animals are tested for medical research but if it saves the human race then so be it. Great topic mate.

  • @itsCARLDOUGLAS glad you approve of the topic bro H&R

  • if i was a cat with aids i'd say where do i sign up?

  • @beatlegreg07 I think a lot of people would feel the same Bro H&R

  • whos never had a problem finding pussy in the dark :)

  • @paranorma1palace hahahaha classic H&R

  • my favorite movie on aids..........

    " The Band Played On."

    as for animal testing..........

    no comment.

  • @bugsme10 I saw that docudrama, have to say it was hard hitting H&R

  • the truth always hurts.

  • The world we live in needs cures to stop suffering. Sadly animal testing is cruel, but without it we would be nowhere near a cure now. Just hope the same is en route with cancer cures too. H&R bro.

  • @hooker1uk There is a known cure for some forms of cancer only the big chemical companies and government wont allow it to go on the market, its called cannabis and cannabis oil, google it Bro H&R

  • @DibbersPage Funny you should say that, Macmillan nurses tried to get my mother on a cannabis trial before she passed away. And I will google it too H&R bro
