Mike Pinder was also in El Riot. Mike & Ray who were the founders of the original Moody Blues in 1964, left El Riot & formed The Krew Kats. John, who was still in engineering school, did not join the MBs until '66, replacing bassist Clint Warwick, around the same time Justin Hayward replaced Denny Laine as lead guitar & singer. Pinder left in '76, and Thomas retired in '02, leaving Hayward, Lodge and Graeme Edge (now 70!) as the only remaining MB originals, still touring 47 years later!
If people would stop thinking they needed a number 1 hit each time they made a song ...we would problably have tons of these....play for fun and not for money!!!!
Love the pictures-fun to try to figure out which kid is John & which is Ray. Sounds like Ray on lead vocal? Er...they must not have had a lyric sheet LOL. But it's fun to listen to.
In 1891 a 54 years old chinese woman named chewy long immigrated from hong kong in a village called saint madele in the state of new york, she was making spiritual rituals by bringing out dead relatives from the underword A mob of religious people burnt down her house while she was in it and died.if you read this message she will appear to you at midnight and burn you to death by spitting fire at you unless you rewrite this message three times in other you tube movies, sorry about this
Is it me or has Ray Thomas always looked 15 years older than he really was? Pre-moustache he looked about 30, and 1967 on, he looked like a thin Peter Grant.
