Wish the poor man would have been home.. That would have been a sight to see. If he is anything like alot of people, who own guns, it would have been war over the seizing. This is ridiculous, & upsets me. Police officers think they have the right to do anything! What gives them the right to enter this mans home in the first place? Because they got a call about a robbery? They are trespassing and unlawfully entering this mans home. I have been in a similar situation, & wasn't very nice about it.

If one of them did happen to be used in a crime and he was charged for it, I hope the court is smart enough to consider that there may not have been a warrant and the evidence was illegally collected.

"...we're taking the firearms for safe keeping..." Where I come from its illegal for the police to seize a weapon unless they have reason to believe it was used in the commission of a felony. I don't know who they think they're protecting here but this is clearly wrong, if not illegal behavior on the part of the police. He can only use two guns at once maximum and the neighbors didn't know about the firearms so how is it a security risk? What do they think they're doing here? This is fucked up.

(firearm owners identification owner) card issued to you by the state police before you can buy or own a gun or ammunition. You must apply for the card, pay a small fee and wait several weeks for the police to issue you your second ammendment rights that the rest of the country receives automatically.
